Our home attendances to date equate to an average of 5864
Our away attendances to date equate to an average of 714
If we get a crowd of over 7900 tomorrow, our home average will top 6000 per game.
Lets hope this will be enough to ensure we have money to invest in two or three players to catch Barnet, or at worst, to win the play offs.

Any statto out there want to work out our home fan figures for recent seasons?
Considering how few away fans we see this season i imagine home fan numbers have stayed strong?
Last season we had oxford, pompey, Newport, gulls, exeter, Plymouth etc. I bet the board are missing that cash. Probably one of our 'best' seasons in lge 2.

Our home average in recent seasons was :
9/10 6993 10/11. 6198 11/12. 5995 12/13. 6295 13/14. 6424
Our away support average last season was 679. This put us in 39th place in the football league.
The '82ers averaged 775 away, which put them in 33rd place

Average number of away fans at the Mem in the last few seasons: 13/14: 466 12/13: 391 11/12: 417 Is it in three figures for this season?

As match prices haven't dropped apart from TV money are we actually suffering a substantial fall in income compared to last season?

The break even figure for this seasons budget is an average gate of 7650 (source is Mr Watola at the q and a) so despite the amazing support we are still actually losing money im afraid.

We have lost £100000 in fees from the rugby plus a cut of food and drink. Nowhere near a million more like £150000

Thanks Dinsdale. Sounds like the guy was imagining a few extra noughts. Bit like me with my premium bond wins

But in Div 2 it was 9,500?? So we're effectively getting 2,000 fans more income closer to our break even point than previous seasons?

Yes we are but not enough to say we are generating surplus for player spending. Even after spending ages talking it through with the directors i still dont understand why we never budget to break even.

Maybe it's because Higgs is willing to put his hand in his pocket to keep our budget as high as possible. I know he's cocked plenty of things up over the years but fair play to him he is a Gashead and he does love our club.

TBH as a fan I'd sooner we over spend this January to try & guarantee a return to league football, rather than spend within our income..
After all there's no way Barnet's wage bill is affordable on gate receipts alone.

You hope its loans? I bloody don't. Any football club board be happy to fund their own failures if they simply convert the money they put in into loans. If it were their own money they were losing they might be more prudent with it.
