Belshaw 6 I place him partially to blame for their 2nd as he didn't come and it ended in a mess.........
Kilgour 6 taken to task by their number 20, lost possession for their 1st. Again booked. Taylor 7 steady match, I like his bringing out of the ball and simple pass. Harries 7.5 best if the defence over all.
Anderson 5 not his best match. Coutts 4.5 I still don't see what he does, set up a hospital ball second half, gave away ball in first that led to counter attack....? Finley 7 lovely assist for Grant, great cross, faded as match went on. Grant 6.5 first half,8.... second half, 5. Lovely header, he's fast becoming a far post specialist!?
Evans 8 m o m sometimes unplayable, love the tricks and dribbling. Spence 4 was he playing? Nicholson 7.5 right place, right time for our 2nd... again ran ragged, and should have stole it at end but somehow missed target when it was easier to score!
Subs: Anderton 6.5 steady but his introduction shifted the play against us. Whelan 6 nice to see him back and he was screaming for the ball at one point late on! Plus....his running off the ball into space was admirable. Collins 5 too little, too late...
Ref 7 let the game flow on 50/50s and was generally fair. Tranmere 6 a good 4th division test. Fair play that they came back for a hard fought draw but we should be kicking ourselves we didn't win after playing ourselves into a very winning position.
Well done JAB keeping up the unbeaten run.

It was Anderson that lost possession for their first goal, not Kilgour. It was also Kilgour who caused mayhem in the Tranmere defence resulting in Sammy scoring from close range. Kilgour had another very good game. When he went off our defence struggled. A very underrated player by some. I can understand that from a distance Anderson and Kilgour could be mistaken. The highlights show very clearly the above.

On reflection I think it's a valid goal. Actually, that gaslights me..... he's not at best a rwb/rb, and I hope this is looked at moving forward...

Belshaw 6 not quite as convincing as of late
Kilgour 6.5 we were worse when he went off Taylor 6.5 usual steady performance Harries 7 pick of the defence
Anderson 4 caught out resulting in both of their goals. Not a defensive wing back Coutts 6.5 standard Coutts performance Finley 7 great energy and cracking cross Grant 6.5 looked tired second half understandably
Evans 8 he really is some player but should’ve scored Spence 4 what did he do Nicholson 5.5 dreadful miss at the death
Subs: Anderton 6 Whelan 6 Collins 6
Ref 5 missed a stone wall pen in my opinion Tranmere 6

Belshaw 7.5 another confident display, always quick off his line and vocal'he's proving to be one of Joeys best signings. Kilgour 7 solid until his forced substitution Taylor 7.5 a decent game and shows confidence on the ball. Harries 7.5 strong tackling ,he's becoming less error prone. Anderson 6 looked tired after Tuesday which is hardly surprising. Coutts 6.5 more involved but for me the jury is still out. Finley 7 his usual high energy game. Grant 7 a well taken goal and was forced to change positions, tired later on. Evans 8 M.o.M.the engine room, mobile and lively, a real find. Spence 5 the game passed him by somewhat. Nicholson 7 worked hard, in the right place to put us two up, a bad miss late on though. Subs: Anderton 6.5 solid. Whelan 6 took time to settle,he plays better when he starts. Collins n.o.l.e. Ref 6.5 decent. Tranmere 6 recovered well, partly due to our tiredness and probably deserved something from the game.

Belshaw 7 - one great save and generally sound. Kicking needs to be more accurate
Kilgour 6.5 - doing ok until the injury Taylor 6.5 - not as dominant as his recent performaces Harries 6 - ok but distribution could of been better
Anderson 5 - all effort and good going forward. His defensive play poor and contributed to the loss of two points Coutts 7 - getting better as he gets match fit Finley 7.5 - all action and drives the team forward Grant 6 - good start but faded as the game went on and he changed positions
Evans 8.5 - a class above everyone else on the pitch. Unbelievable dribblng skill and full of effort. Faded in the second half. Also picked up a stupid booking. If the club are not trying to tie him down to a long-term contract something is seriously wrong. Spence 5.5 - did not really get going Nicholson 6 - worked hard in the striker role but the fact that he didn't win any of the aerial battles was a big factor (not his fault) why the team performance did not go to the next level. Also a very poor miss near the end.
