Last time I went there was in the conference play offs, myself and about 500 other gasheads went in the home end, some bloke who obviously thought he was surrounded by Forest Green supporters started singing City chants and got filled in. Dark times indeed.

Yate town were concerned that Yeovil supporters who went to watch them at Solihull on Saturday would nip into Yate en route to get an F.A. cup ticket. Tickets were then on sale depending on identification and failing that a question would be asked that only someone from Yate would know the answer too. Never did find out what the question was

There's suggestions on Twitter that they've oversold the allocation and that those with tickets should get there very early. Anyone tried to order over the phone ?

That was tinpot from FGR, refused to give us more tickets and then couldn’t sell out their own home areas for the biggest game in their history at the time.

I assume it was to prevent us having a vocal advantage. I initially couldn’t get an away ticket so drove there to get one for the home end - I was quizzed at the ticket office about which FGR home game I been to last and which month it was. I hadn’t a clue and picked a team and month at random and to my amazement I was about right and was sold one! As it happened I got offered an away ticket from a mate while driving down for the game and gave my home one away. The city fan getting a kicking was funny (I know I shouldn’t say that). He thought he was with FGR fans and started shouting ‘f**k off Irene’. I’d love to know what went through his tiny mind when it dawned on him that he was in a group of Gasheads. Don’t condone violence but he did bring it upon himself!

Oooh hard as nails. It’s no surprise they are interested in renewable energy. The Vegan virtue signallers are so enraptured with the smell of their own farts there must be enough to power a small city left over.

Both City and Swindon this season have complained massively saying FGR Oversold tickets, only one ticket stand open to get into the ground so very long queues and are not prepared for big away crowds.
If you’re planning on going, my advice would be get there as early as you can.

Where FGR are leading now in renewables and sustainability, we'll all be following in a few years, so you'd better brace yourself.

Yea, because we are being forced to, regardless of Democratic consent, because the end of the world is nigh if we don’t. I’m fully aware that this stuff is sweeping through everything at present but when your kids can’t take flights like we could, have to live in little feudal zones living off the land with programmable money which others can decide how it’s spent, I can guarantee you, you and your kids will be far more miserable. It’s a future not really worth having. I say bring on the climate catastrophe rather than live like feudal peasant, and believe me, the upshot is living like a feudal peasant. I’m not really sure if I’m joking or not here. I don’t think regular Joe public has thought through what all of this means. I think they think it means subsidised insulation and new boilers. The initial comment was taking a pop at insufferably middle class people wearing their sustainability and eco principles as a badge of enlightenment. No matter how concerned I would ever be about the environment, I could never be allied to these canapé munching egotists. Rest assured, the Dale Vinces and all their wealthy eco buddies won’t be paying the price the average Joe will. They will just have nice clutter free beaches to visit. Virtually none of these people give up their travel. If someone suggests a system where air travel and independence don’t become a luxury of the wealthy then I’m all ears. How about banning private jets before we ban flights to Tenerife? At least flights to Tenerife are full. I bet that never happens. It will be us going to Torquay and then riding around like kings. And our horizons will shift from wanting a holiday fo just a little piece of real meat. That’s how bad it’s going to get. Progressive.

I admire the stance of Dale Vince and his club bucking the trend food wise and doing things differently.
They should be acknowledged as trend setters and with the prospect of a spanking new eco stadium in the coming years could be a championship club well before us.
As someone reminded me recently in 1975 Forest Green were in the Gloucestershire county league while Rovers were in the old Second division (now Championship) FGR are an ambitious club something we should emulate.

With all of 2,000 fans. Unless they pinch fans from Bristol Gloucester, Cheltenham, etc..

If everyone on the planet made one small change to their lifestyle it would make an enormous difference.
