What are your thoughts on the very likely introduction of "Headless"football? I really don't think it will work to be honest just from an anatomical point of view.

I don't think there have been any suggestions of not having headers in football. It's crucial to how the game works.
I think they are trying to prevent headers in junior age group football to some extent and restrict the amount of time club's practice headers in training. If you look at what happened to Jeff Astle and others who have since suffered from head related trauma, it's not a bad idea.

I think they are trying to prevent headers in junior age group football to some extent and restrict the amount of time club's practice headers in training. If you look at what happened to Jeff Astle and others who have since suffered from head related trauma, it's not a bad idea. The modern football is so light now compared to the old rain soaked leather footballs. Hopefully, any damage done will be a lot less going forwards.
