Unless the players have a pre-match injection of energy and a large dose suppository of creativity and organisation at the back it's another defeat I'm afraid.
The best we can hope for is a bit of effort and keeping the score respectable.

I can't remember a game where I've had less anticipation for it. I just have literally zero confidence that we'll get anything out of it. Almost zero confidence that we'll score. Since the Plymouth game I've been resigned to relegation, and I'll say it again, at this point if we finish above bottom, I'll be surprised. Now lads, go out and prove me wrong please! I’m Actually feeling very confident about today’s game. Confident that we’ll get absolutely smashed about four or five nil.

I feel like we’ll have a good response from the players after the Swindon game, but ultimately still lose.

Mate,Johnny Stack just phoned me.We have been going to Rovers games for 65 years. We have accepted we will never see a new ground in our lifetime. So sad how the Stadium issue has been allowed to drift with un -fulfilled hopes repeatedly .John pointed out that in 'Our Day' ,a lot of players in the Ray Mabbutt,Alfie Biggs era were Bristolians but times are very different now.We both agreed not to let the Rovers current situation re team and Dickensian stadium worry us.That's what we agreed but in reality it seems that we are as a club only going rapidly one way.

You’ve certainly endured a lot of mediocrity! I’m approaching 50 and I’m wondering if I’ll see anything other than a deteriorating club, I’ve only seen us at Twerton and the Mem.... 2 of the worst grounds ever! We can but dream! UTG

In case you're interested, other games going off this afternoon:
Wimbledon v Northampton - we want a draw? Wigan v Ipswich - we want an Ipswich win?

Best of luck today lads , I know it looks bleak but the fact is you have still got 9 games left and you are only 2 points and a couple of goals away from safety so its still all to play for.The match reports I have read seems to show that nobody is wiping the floor with you so surely your luck has got to change. I cant imagine what it must be like to be in your situation and not to be able to be at the match to at least try to lift them.

Sunderland are 5/6 to win which on paper looks good value to be fair. It's a massive if but just imagine if we could get a win, it would really lift everyone and give everyone belief. I have a feeling we will be more competitive today but still lose.

Sunderland have some snide cheating bazturds in their side and some cynical pluckers as well.
Charlie Wyke will have the time of his life if we are not careful and watch McGeadie give Hanlan a true lesson in cheating by diving at every opportunity he gets. It our defence give away another stupid free kick dangerously placed like the other night it will be in the net before Day has sorted himself out.
Hoping for some scrap today - some grit and fire ! If we lose we lose but please show you have passion for the shirt!!
Would be brilliant if we won ....

The goal we conceded v Swindon sumed up our season, nobody took responsibility and made the ball theirs.

The Jaak is back! Great news, keen to see how Martinez and Walker get on against strong L1 opposition too. Still not optimistic about today, but that is at least one ray of sunlight.
