van Stappershoef A couple of neat saves kicking out wasn't great 6
Williams Worked hard but going forward was snubbed out with ease 6 Kilgour Good game allowed few opportunities, neat on the ball MOTM 8 Harries Worked well alongside Kilgour 7
Rodman Looked heavy, not convinced he delivers enough going forward 6 Grant I think he is now showing really good form shame couldn't get his header on target at the end 7.5 McCormick Decent in the first half but cost us the game with a silly error 5 Leahy Has been playing well recently and again another strong committed performance 7.5
Westbrooke Closed down and some neat passes but not enough tonight 6 Nicholson Fantastic at times but faded second half, would have left him out on the wing and subbed Rodman 7
Hanlan Not enough of a threat 6
Subs: Daly not in the game 6 Ayunga A bit more determination needed tonight 7 Koiki NOLE Ehmer NOLE
Ref Booked McCormick but for kicking ball away but every quick free kick they blocked and nothing given pure inconsistency 5 Burton first half rubbish second half the better team a couple of decent players 5

Looking at the names made me think how little I’d noticed them after the sending off. We really weren’t very good with 10 men.
Jordi 6
Williams 6 Kilgour 6 Harries 6 Leahy 7. V good first half.
Grant 6 McCormick 4. Stupid sending off. I still hope we can sign him permanently Rodman 5 Westbrook 6. Another who had a good first half.
Nicholson 5. I thought he and Hanlan were subbed much earlier than the 79th min.
Hanlan. 5. Not his greatest game. But hard to play with 10 men.
Subs
Daly 5 Ayunga 6. Others were NOLE
Burton 4. A poor team, but like another poor side last Tuesday, Wigan, managed to beat us.
Ref. 5. He isn’t the reason we lost this game.

van Stappershoef 8 m o m one brilliant save and no fault for the goal.
Williams 5 quiet. Kilgour 6 beaten by ball watching jump. Harries 8 m o m outfield some great interceptions and blocking. Nice deep pass too..
Rodman 6 almost snatched equaliser ala Shrewsbury Grant 6 great first half but done nothing to prevent shot for goal and missed free header at the death. McCormick 3 up until sending off could be m o m but stupidly chose to give himself a chance of getting sent off and after that we never recovered. Also their 33 pretty much fouled Luke every opportunity without redress. Leahy 7 same as harries and got forward well first half.
Westbrooke 3 honestly didn't see one good thing he done. Nicholson 5 tried to take on the world and it didn't work, missed the first clear chance.
Hanlan 4 too easily shaken off the ball, missed the second clear chance.
Subs: Daly 4 offered little. Ayunga 4 offered little. Koiki nole. Ehmer nole.
Ref 1 awful. Inconsistent. Conspired with everything this season to make things difficult for us. Burton 4 look like a relegation team, yet they got the better of us because they played the horrible side of this division best, kept pushing onto us, played with more heart endeavour and energy and what they lacked in talent made up with in attitude.

van Stappershoef 6 marked down because almost every kick went out for a throw in
Williams 6 probably his worst game so far Kilgour 6.5 few moments where he lost concentration but otherwise ok Harries 7.5 looked very solid
Rodman 7 involved and almost made things happen on a few occasions Grant 7 had a near impossible task second half McCormick 5 was playing well but two needless bookings cost us Leahy 6.5 had to face up against their best player
Westbrooke 6 awful set pieces, didn’t get us ticking Nicholson 6.5 looked busy, had to score his early 1v1
Hanlan 6 not sure what he really offered higher up the pitch
Subs: Daly nole Ayunga 6.5 held the ball nicely a few times Koiki nole Ehmer nole
Ref 4 enjoyed blowing his whistle Burton 5 one or two decent players

van Stappershoef 6.5 did little wrong but his kicking is always suspect and last night it was particularly poor. Williams 6 he looked a bit jaded, he took a knock which obviously unsettled him Kilgour 7 a good steady game and he seems to be forging a decent partnership with Harries. Harries 8 M.o.M. a dominant game ,strong and uncompromising. Rodman 6 a decent first half but tired later on. Grant 7 battled hard but struggled after the sending off. McCormick 6 he was fine until his silly mistake, he'll learn from it and come back with lesson learned. Leahy 6.5 plenty of effort but caught out a few times. Westbrooke 6 lacked urgency and unimpressive set piece deliveries, Nicholson 6 As usual showed quality but tightly marked. Hanlan 5 he offered little. Subs: Daly) Ayunga ) N.o.l.e. Koiki ) Ehmer ) Ref 4 pedantic and inconsistent Burton 3 first half 6 second half , a side in form, typical of our luck!

van Stappershoef - 5. Doesn't inspire confidence, has mistakes in him every game. Fairly manic with the ball at his feet.
Williams - 6 solid. Good signing. Kilgour - 6. 5. Coped relatively well, won most aerial battles and distribution was better. Harries - 5 distribution was awful. Don't get this myth that his passing is good as its been terrible this season.
Rodman - 5 worked hard but no end product. Grant - 5. Excellent first half, anonymous second half. When we're chasing a game his lack of attacking instinct really shows and his inability to make forward passes really slows the game down. McCormick - 3. Was having a fantastic game up until sending off. Naive. Leahy - 5. Committed display, has improved since getting the captains armband but second half struggled defensively and offered nothing going forward.
Westbrooke - 5. Started ok but second half forgot he was on the pitch. Didn't hit target with decent chance in the first half. Looked great against Shrewsbury, now back to an anonymous performance. Nicholson - 5.5. Decent first half, looked up for it and caused them problems. Missed good chance early on and faded second half.
Hanlan - 6. Worked hard as always, distribution to him for most of the game was poor. Thankless task for him at the moment.
Subs: Daly n/a Ayunga n/a Koiki n/a Ehmer n/a
Ref 3(no need to elaborate!) Burton 5. Poor up until the sending off. Great goal and created two or three good chances after too. If we want to stay up we should put this sort of team away...we didn't and relegation remains a very real possibility.
