I can tell you what I was watching exactly 45 years ago to this day...... My first ever Bristol Rovers match. Yep sat in the North Stand getting hooked by the noise from the Tote and watching Rovers win 2-0 against Southampton with both goals scored by Frankie Prince.

What a way to mark the occasion, you can always rely on Rovers If I'm honest, I can't even remember my first game. My dad was taking me from when I was around 1 - so naturally the first games I remember are a blur, just flash backs of Twerton tbh - almost a dream if anything.

There was a blonde woman who supported Charlton on the Tote and everytime they scored she would jump up and down waving her scarf. No one dared confront her because for some reason she was being protected by two of the meanest looking Rovers fans you ever did see.

Just to break into all the intellectual viewing, Kelly's Heroes, the chap who played Oddballs tank driver, Moriarity, with them negative waves, died a few days ago, 70. And to carry on with that link, Clint Eastwood hit 91 yesterday.

Official Secrets now on Netflix is good, especially if you're not a fan of Big Government. Great cast too.

Bit of a miserable day here so picked a netflix film to watch.
We watched "Worth" a true movie starring Michael Keaton. Based on a a US Lawyer Kenneth Feinberg fighting for compensation for families following the 9/11 attacks.

Grey and miserable here in Central France so watched another Netflix movie based on true events. We watched "A Call To Spy" about the recruitment and training of women as spys during WW2 and them being sent to France. Well worth a watch if you have nothing to do.

The decline & relegation of Bristol Rovers.
watched the first 7 shows and it’s been pretty boring so far , not much action and the cast is terrible , load of has beens and never will be’s. It’s all a bit predictable . Not sure I’m gonna bother watching til the end unless the next episode or two improves dramatically.
