Sinclair needs a mention too. He was winning balls that he was only 30/70 to get, running twice as far to loose balls as the opposition players and still getting there first. My favourite player this season so far.

My favourite player this season so far. Its no coincidence that many of the teams we play pick him out as our best Plyer. There was one tackle in the first half which was absolutely immense. Was probably even less than 30/70!

great stuff,i thought we made barnet look poor in the 1st half and our midfield 4 were superb,in the 2nd half at times barnet showed why they are top but with the help of positive substitutions we regained the initiative and fully deserved the late winner

View from the Barnet forum, few of them thought it was handball at the time. Video evidence pretty much proves it was a better save than Gordon Banks. Interesting one of them calls us 'Scummers' any idea what we've done to be referred to as this? Can only think of the last gasp winners against them? Barnet Forum

Cracking win, well done to DC and the boys. I enjoyed reading this thread as it all unfolded this morning (Australian time!). Spent the rest of the day with a big smile on my face.
Feeling pretty positive now. Not all of DC's signings have come off but find me a manager who has managed that. He's generally stuck to his guns when signing new players rather than panicking and hopefully this will start to pay dividends. Will be disappointing when we lose LDV though as he appears to have had a big impact.
Onwards and upwards. UTG

Great result last night and always great for team spirit to win right at the death.
After our slow start we have now picked up 37pts from our last 19 games, at nearly 2pts a game, despite not being totally convincing at times. It seems like the team are really starting to click now and crucially, we have just strengthened our attacking options with Balanta, Della Verde, Blisett and Goldberg coming in. This seems to be having a good effect on Taylor and if they respond well to it, then it's all the more reason for Brunt and Harrison to go all out and impress in training.
Now's the time to really kick on and put our stamp on this league. UTG!

Not many of them there at all and were very quiet, even after they equalised.

Come on gas! Got a good feeling about this one! 2-1 to rovers and I'm having a cheeky punt on Lyle Della Verde to score the first goal at 12/1. BOOM!

Yay! Well done!
Oldest thread dragged back up ever, just to show that you predicted a correct score 14 months ago, have you nothing better to do with your time?

Yay! Well done! Oldest thread dragged back up ever, just to show that you predicted a correct score 14 months ago, have you nothing better to do with your time? To bring back good memories against a team we are playing this weekend. That night for me was the start of my real belief last season.
