Fantastic result and absolutely vital win. Well done Matty finally getting the rewards he deserves. Eight points the diff seems like a mountain, but its better than Eleven. UTG

I'm far from deflated after that scintillating first half performance from the lads. We will win this. Can I say I told you so?

Fully deserved 3 points tonight just for the first half display alone, was quite worried how we battered them so much and were only 1-1 at half time but we really do now have a team that fight right until the final whistle.
How the are clear at the top I do not know, they didn't show any signs of being a good team to me at all tonight.

Come on gas! Got a good feeling about this one! 2-1 to rovers and I'm having a cheeky punt on Lyle Della Verde to score the first goal at 12/1. Della verde scored the first goal not Taylor,And Balanta got the winner,Also thought McCrystal played well against Akinde, very good shout this

When was the last time we could say we are 18 points clear of the drop zone half way through the season?

Quality never say die attitude tonite and fantastic 1st half performance, best ive seen for a long time!!
back 4 were quality, with maca making akinde look like the player he was for us, kept very quiet.
lvd was immense 1st half, will be a star in the future, full of tricks, mans and beard bossed midfield.
taylor could have scord more
uproar when the ref gave a pen for handball but retrispectively fair play to the lino who overturned it as was his head, (got alot of stick though!!!)
get in utg!!!!!

That's 2 goals and an assist from his last 3 games I believe.

Really don't get this division. Barnet were very average throughout.Apart from the deflected goal i cant remember Mildy making a save. How we never put them out of sight by half time i will never know. That first half performance from us was as good as we have played all season. Matty Taylor's movement first 30 mins was fantastic,he was finding pocket's of space and causing their back line all sorts of problems..Second half we went off the pace but Barnet were content to sit deep. This league is there for the taking. Only the third game I've managed to get to this season, and I echo most of the positives others have already mentioned. Competing for 90+ minutes, shackling their biggest threats, solid as a team going forward and at the back.
Still making it hard for ourselves by not scoring enough whilst we're on top. Biggest problem last season, biggest problem tonight. I love that we made up for it by sheer bloody-mindedness, but it should have been at least 2-1 at HT and then a counter-attacking third goal in the second half.
Also why is it the only time I've ever seen a linesman give the referee any decent help to make the correct decision it goes against us?
Massively pleased overall with the team, the tactics, the management and the fans at the game. Where we go from here I think defines our season rather than this particular result though...
