Nearly 7.30am and no match day thread yet?
Tough tough match this so I am putting my unbeaten run on the line! That’s said they had a hard game on Saturday and we should be more refreshed.
Same starting 11 for me and another positive result.

The lads have the benefit of not being favourites for this so it’s no pressure imo, Hull are a decent side with some really good players in. A loss would be expected tbh. A draw is a good point and a win will show good progress for Ben and his boys. Just hope we aren’t awful tonight and that’s all I’m hoping for. UTG! Is it to early for a pre match beer ?

Seems fans not keen to take this one on so well done Cocker for fronting up!, This fixture brings back memories of our battles with them in the 1960s when they had a very good side under Bristolian Cliff Brittain, with the like's of Ken Wagstaff and co, the other even better memory is 'that Dean Windas moment'! any way back to the future, i reckon we may be in for a treat tonight and BGs philosophy will reap rich dividends 2-0 Gas!

Brilliant yardstick tonight potentially.
Don't get me wrong, I won't be at all surprised if Hull win.
But given progress has been made, I'm really hopeful we can be far more competitive than when we played against another top side in Doncaster a few weeks back.
Ideally I want to see us causing problems and conceding no more than two goals!
If we can go toe-to-toe with Hull and not get twatted I'll actually be confident we've perhaps finally turned the corner and will actually be willing to consider Ben Garner may yet pull this off (and let's be honest, the fact I'm even considering this a possibility is a miracle frankly, and a testament to the improvements that have been made over the past few weeks).

Long time since Hull played at the Mem.Bit of a culture shock awaits. Yes definitely but at least they can have a pint before kick off, that’s the perks off getting changed in the thatchers bar.

They play a pretty successful 433 formation primarily attacking down the right hand side so Dave is gonna have his work cut out unless Leahy or Koiki come in for this one. Threats on that side will be Wilks or Adelakun. They will press our back line so we will need to be confident on the ball or hoof it away early no nonsense style.
They like to cross it in so we will need to be good in the air and strong in the box.
This is probably gonna be a tough one for us but we are as good as anyone with they way we can create chances and Brandon Hanlan is quickly getting a reputation for being a real handful and was quoted recently as being the most powerful forward faced by defenders so far (good job by him)
I would imagine we would stick with the 3-5-2 and try to dominate the midfield areas. Opportunities attacking on our left side on turn overs as they will commit bodies forward attacking down the right, so if we can steal and use that vacant space we could get some joy.
They have shown that they certainly have a goal in them, but the Fleetwood match also shows they can happily concede too... We will need to be clever and clinical tonight and press them into mistakes with the likes of Daly, Hanlan & McCormick with energy to burn this could be a tasty one.
Believe this one is probably our hardest since Sunderland so going to say 1-1 but i would love a decent 1-0 performance from us with solid confidence boosting defending

1-1 I think. Shame we can’t be there for this one - when was the last time this fixture was a league fixture?
If BG can win he’s the new messiah. Start the bus Rich. A draw I’ll be impressed An honest loss I won’t be too bothered. If we get dicked there will be no questions asked but expect to bite back at the weekend.

You can’t get much closer than that. 19 wins for Rovers tonight then. 👍 The average age of the Rovers players was - Nininini nineteen 19, ni- nineteen 19,19,19,19,19. But none of them received a hero’s welcome, none of them received a hero’s welcome. (Bloody covid!).

Looking forward to it. This is the kind of match where we need to be competitive and give them a good match. I’ll go for 1-1, a decent performance and another point. Although they are good in attack I’d stick with Tutonda not Leahy though Kaiki may come in I suppose and I’d give Oztuman his first start. But if we go unchanged I wouldn’t be surprised or unhappy, it gives a good message to players playing in a winning team. UTG!

Hull’s wins this season, has been against teams in all due respect are not expected to be in the shake up at the end of season. Where as the two defeats they received had been against teams that are favourites to finish top 10. Yes,of course it’s going to be tough, but I genuinely believe that Rovers can win this one So a narrow battling 1 goal in it victory. UTG

The only change id make would be Nicholson for Daly and use his pace and nusence factor for final 25
I think we could be good for a 2-0/2-1.
I'm going to say Hare free kick to open followed by a Hanlan pen
