He was a legend who will be sadly missed. Used to enjoy him going in the away end and interviewing the fans - never seen anyone else do that. And of course who can forget the referee being available for pantomime

Just heard Nick day talking about him on the podcast...Grey ponytail, black quaker style boot lace tie, his infatuation with the del Shannon song 'runaway' which he seemed to play constantly and his jokes at the expense of junior bent and Gary flitcroft. Great, great memories. The man was clearly in a 50s time warp which added to his charm. Not heard of him for about 15 years since he felt the strong arm of the law due to some horticultural activities which may not have been entirely legal from memory.. Never a dull moment with Keith on the mic.. RIP

Best PA announcer we've ever had.. Bar none.. I remember when he went on holiday and he would get 80s kids TV presenter nino ferretto to take over from him temporarily too. Great fun

I always remember his remark when a totally bald referee took to the field at Twerton, "The gentleman in the pink helmet is today's matchday referee". Rest in peace Keith, simply the best!

I would like to send my condolences to those close to Keith, what a character! as others have said the best and most entertaining matchday host we have ever had ,or any one else has ever add! big part of the experience at Twerton , so many classic one liners! his chats to fans, home and away always entertaining and there has never been another like him, Rovers could do a lot worse than resurrect his style and format, it would do much to enhance the match day experience at the Mem!, as long as some one had a 'bleep 'machine to follow him around!! thanks for the memories Keith RIP.

He was worth turning up early for at Twerton. Never a dull moment. Used to enjoy him going into the away end, interviewing a couple of fans and letting one read out their team sheet...so he didn’t have to 😉
Interviewing young supporters on the terraces.
Close to the knuckle, but did if with charm and humour.

A bad week for both Bristol clubs losing real characters of the game in Buster and Keith. Very different people but all added to the colour of being at a match. Doubt we’ll see their like again in the modern game. RIP to them both
