Which country are you in to garner these views? China? Singapore? New Zealand? Taiwan? Japan? Europe? USA? Will be interesting. I was in C America. I'm out anyway, cheers. Leave you guys to it for now. That location, is incongruous with your views, so I don't see the relevance.

Funny the varying degrees to which this virus effects people. I have had all three jabs and recently had C19 for the 3rd time. Each time very mild and just a scratch at the back of the throat with a dull headache. Now I am well versed with the symptoms, or at least the symptoms that I get personally, I think it may well be more than 3 contractions.

I was a little interested in how my location had any relation to my views, and the other travellers I spoke to. But on reflection, I don't actually care what you think. No offence intended at all but your continued angle wrt my posts is super tedious. I don't need reassurances from this forum like some of you guys seem to. Try opening your eyes n ears and you'll find many, many people with similar views to me. 👍🏼

Maybe he could try a healthy diet instead ? 🙄 Assuming you have not noticed the most common accompanying uhc's with covid. A healthy diet, along with exercise would have saved countless lives and is generally a good idea. However you, you can do what you like and get your 6 monthly jabs regardless of anything else and feel just fine. Good on ya kiddo.

Plus the vaccine because I believe in science unlike you , you crackpot.

A good diet, healthy lifestyle and appropriate vaccines in tandem is probably the best idea. For the sake of argument would you have a covid vaccine in 10 years time once it was proven to be safe and effective? Have you and your family had polio and MMR vaccines?

Probably After the cowardice of letting others prove the risk level. That may be your interpretation. Were mothers who refused thalidomide cowards? My question was to understand what barriers there may be to someone not wanting a vaccine and if they hold those principles in the face of longer term evidence. It is my understanding that the covid jabs actually had as much testing (as a proportion of hours in a lab) as other current safe vaccines. What it cannot have is long term heath data. From what I have read Gashead79 thinks lifestyle choices are more effective than vaccines. I do not agree but a better diet may be preferable to a vaccine that we do not know enough about. I wondered if he was OK with some vaccines or if he really believes a good long walk and a plate of salad is a substitute for polio or measles preventing treatment.

Just a shame some believe their opinion is worth more than the trial

Just a shame some believe their opinion is worth more than the trial Yeah there is. Clinical trials are not absolute, the point that Fintanstack makes. We had a decent amount of small batch human testing on top of lab results. It looks fine. But we cannot be absolutely sure, only time will show that. The point is that Covid is a pathogen that can kill the vulnerable and as it stands the vaccines suppress transmission and negative outcomes. So helping protect ourselves and others. Protect others. Unless a person locks themselves away they will interact with others, but without knowing whether they are vulnerable or not. No amount of healthy diet, or lifestyle is going to make a person immune, they may well survive an infection as a result, but at the same time be infectious early in the cycle of illness without knowing it. There, at that point, is the moment of cowardice. They will not take the vaccine because in their mind it's veracity is not be absolute. They are scared. It's not, (absolute) but most of us will jump in and take it because it helps us and others. Take the risk. Btw Fintanstack, the comparison with Thalidomide is not valid. By refusing that therapy, the lady in question risked nobody else's life. The drug was not treating a transmissible pathogen. So we need to call it for what it is. Rank cowardice.

Rank *selfishness That is a well thought out response and I think you talked yourself into agreeing with me and talked me into agreeing with you. Selfishness is a better term than cowardice in this instance.
