Really enjoyed the game. Two good sides, both going for it. Some good indicators to the style Garner's looking to adopt and I, for one, am right on board with it.
Time will tell, of course, but I have a feeling watching Rovers is going to be a lot more enjoyable again.

Good entertainment and we were dangerous on set plays but they were a far better side than us. Agreed, it's worrying how little we create. That is now 5 games without a goal from open play/not from a set piece. We are very dangerous at set pieces though and I always feel w ehave a chance of scoring and unlikely to concede from them. Play a decent passing game and you will create chances, like Cov did today. Once again the opposition let us off the hook by missing them

With all the games we have played lately, a replay is the last thing we need! Atleast we are still in the hat though. Enjoyable game to watch.
Now it will be atleast 2 week's, before Garner gets some decent training sessions with them. Mid week games again for the next 2 week's.
Hopefully can boost the numbers, so atleast some player's get a break.

Ffs I guess he likes Bennett! Or he likes to put him in the shop window.

Good entertainment and we were dangerous on set plays but they were a far better side than us. More than half of the sides in league 1 are better than us in my opinion if we get it down and try and pass through them. The only time we played the big direct Coughlan ball down the middle today we nearly scored , Johnson’s flick leahy I think hit the side netting. Garners got his work cut turning this side in to a good passing team. I’m prepared to give him time I hope the fans and board are as well as their money.

I haven’t been a fan of Bennett but if we’re going to try and play through teams then I wouldn’t be surprised if garner played him in midfield alongside a ball winner or two in the future. I thought he did ok today and suits Garners style much more than coughlans.

I thought Coventry outplayed us today.
It's just as well their forwards missed so many chances, we'd have been dead and buried come Half time.

Its ok giving garner time to change the style but its criminal throw away 4th place in the league to do it.

I’d never noticed the weeds growing on the roof of the West Stand before. We really are an embarrassment.

Going up with a team that plays in the Coughlan style would surely see us come straight back down. Players at that level will suss out that style, as, I believe, they will in this level too. Look at Coventry today. They played some great stuff, passing out from the keeper. 20 years ago, you wouldn't see that in this league but now, that's the way forward. I'd much rather take the long term approach of having a team that is ready to go up in a couple of seasons time and be able to stay there. Whether Garner can provide that remains to be seen, of course, but IMO if he can, it's a style that is a lot more likely to be able to sustain the promotion we all desire than the one dimensional approach we had before.

Yes once at St Andrews and again today! So do Coventry spend their money more wisely on better footballers, or will they eventually do a Bolton/Bury when they finally lose their case v Coventry Council and run out of money? Just a pity JCH was as interested in the 2nd half when playing in front of his home fans as he was in front of his former club's in the first half. Somehow he's gone from unplayable to another Ryan Brunt since his last injury. JVS' performance must have been the best by a Rovers goalie this season, it was pretty much faultless from the first minute to the last.

Ffs I guess he likes Bennett! Or he likes to put him in the shop window. Or he just didn't have any other options. Not exactly spoilt for choice if he wants to change things up with all the injuries we've got atm.
