Why doesn't he move his family down here? He’s got to do what’s right for his wife and kids. If they are settled where they are and commuting down to us is taking it’s toll, you can’t blame him. |

Why would he possibly want to leave? 1. He's been told there's no backing in January from the current owners. 2. He's watered off with the poor support from our fanbase, many of whom are still sniffling over DC's departure. 3. New owner's taking over and bringing in their own man. I suspect option two. On another thread I highlighted his record and some clown’s (and he’s not alone) reply was how he had lost 1000 fans. Quite unbelievable and I wouldn’t blame him in the least if he was off to somewhere that will appreciate him more. Still, luckily for us we need only 16 points for safety. Yep plenty on here and behind the dugouts that say they are staying away or he has lost 1k of the crowd due to his crap football |

Could be jch being sold and GC being told your not having any of the money to buy anyone to replace him.
It’s got to hurt to get the club where it is in the league and bring in a player that’s worth a million plus and to be told thanks for that but your getting no money back in return and the fans constantly wanting him out and still banging on a bout a manager who is struggling at the lower end of league 2

Why doesn't he move his family down here? Kids at school, perhaps wife and family settled in Sheffield, contract insecurity and several hundred of thousands difference in house prices? |

It's funny to hear everyone saying how ALQ should back him when only 6800 could be arsed to turn up last Saturday when we're fighting for promotion. Unless he's been promised something by ALQ which he's reneged on it's pretty clear we have no money to spend. Why should Wael be bothered if the fans can't.

The board should back him in January if they are invested.. time for Wael to show much of a gas head he is - hopefully show some support for our manager.
Fans need to get behind the bloke on a saturday, fed up of hearing people behind the dugout. We are 4th for God sake!!! Show him some love.
Also believe the so called "fans# trolling his daughter would be a consideration. I do hope the club did what they could to ban them from games.
I would be surprised however if he was offered a job elsewhere 12 months after taking charge of us..there a re few struggling big clubs in league 1 i suppose, Sunderland, Portsmouth could be showing an interest.
I've said enough times, the board need to do more, Wael needs to step up and back the manager. Owners need to stop hiding away and tell us what the F is going on. Never hear from the bloke, no stadium updates and now our manager could be off. Wael, pull your finger out or sell up, stopping hanging on.

Why doesn't he move his family down here? Reading between the lines I think you’re right. Not sure how long his contract is but it sounds like he & his family have a big decision to make. Uproot his wife & kids from Sheffield to move down here which is a massive thing to do . What security has he got .... it’s a gamble . What’s he being paid.... the ‘cheap option’ as some have said might mean he’s thinking is it worth it ? He needs rewarding for his fantastic first yr with a pay rise and the security of at least 2 prob 3 yr contract. He also needs the backing of the fans.... in numbers turning up at the Mem. We’re doing better.... much better but the crowds are down. This is ultimately what the bean counters will look at and ponder before risking offering him an improved contract. It’s chicken & egg. What’s needed now is a 10k plus gate on sat. That’s our bit Gasheads. |

I can think Portsmouth... that's about it. That's who I was thinking of. Not exactly closer to Sheffield though is it? I think the family life is being read into incorrectly. I think that's more to do with taking in their opinions than location. After all he was at Southend that's not exactly close? |
