Why would he possibly want to leave?
1. He's been told there's no backing in January from the current owners.
2. He's watered off with the poor support from our fanbase, many of whom are still sniffling over DC's departure.
3. New owner's taking over and bringing in their own man.

If he’s got an offer at a bigger club I’ll be surprised but he should take it. DC went from the hottest young manager in the league turning down Leeds to managing at the bottom of league 2 in the space of two years or so.

"I need to go home and sit with my wife and my kids this evening and spend some time with them. I’ve got a decision to make with my own life and my own career with where I’m going and what I’m doing.
I don’t know where I can take this football club. I’ve got decision to make personally. So I’m going to spend this evening with my wife and kids and see which way I wake up in the morning." Sounds like he is gone. You dont say something public like that unless your really thinking about it. Proberly thinking today is the peak of what he can do under our current owners. No doubt he has asked to be backed and get promotion in January but they have said they wont and that tbey will sell JCH if a bid of 500k- £1 million comes in. He is problely thinking hos career stock is the highest it can be here in Snail and co. Ffs. Surely it must include an offer from somewhere else if that's the case? He wouldn't just leave without another job to go to.

Didn't realise he live up north, maybe he is just really excited about the prospect of getting us up so is considering moving down and needs to discuss that with mrs c and the kids? He has said on the wireless before that his family are up in Sheffield. Cant blame him for wanting to go back up there at all. Lifes too short to be away from family like that.

Very worrying as he won’t get the money he wants and It’s obvious he won’t stand for any lies and won’t put up with no support from the board and the terraces. Just hope it’s not too late for fans and board to give him what he deserves Not another person working closely with or for the ALQs losing trust in them surely? The list is getting ever longer.

An emotional interview Just heard this in Radio Bristol and it would be a disaster if he left ......”it’s a personal and a footballing decision he says he is needing to talk it over with his family!” Maybe he needs the board to show some real support in terms of backing him in the transfer market. He Lives up north and maybe that’s taking its toll in terms of where he is based Very worrying in my view. Some fans who have not backed him maybe will get what they wished for!!!! Mr Holloway ......get ready just in case the worst happens 👍 there are no other to step up in my view. "Ollie" So how much you going to support me if I take the job. Here we go supporters wanting to look backwards. Holloway, yesterdays man and that's where he should stay

Club need to speak to him tonight and assure him that he will be backed in January. Or, perhaps those talks have already taken place (You would imagine so at this late stage) and he's not being backed by the board and that is why GC has said what he has today?

He lives near Sheffield, perhaps one of the clubs has offered him a coaching role.

Taken us as far as he can and wants to better himself while his stock is high.

If he's under contract, then he can't just walk out and take another job.

I can’t see he’s playing mind games for transfer money but just fed up of relentless feeling of no support from the board and supporters

If he's under contract, then he can't just walk out and take another job. He can resign and forfeit compensation if he wants it enough.
