Possibly. I was just asking if anyone else heard this? The commentator said that's what GC said, not TN. Did he? I thought the commentator said that's what Nichols had commented.

Having a look at their disallowed 'goal' again, istm Kilgore had a decent chance of stopping it, but the whistle went a long time before the ball was in the net, and Kilgore had already turned away. This is true.. the whistle blows and AK stops and looks at the linesman. Arguable he could have attempted to block the shot otherwise - although it would have taken something special to stop the goal IMO. As for JVS.. there is no way he knew the player was going to be flagged offside and so his lack of decisive action could well have led to us conceding a goal! Hopefully something he will learn from.

I think JVS also was a bit half hearted in his attempts due, probably, to having also seen the flag/heard the whistle. There is a lesson though - if we ever play a game where VAR is available players mustn't stop at the whistle as the goal would have stood after the review.

I don't buy into the theory that once coughlan gets the dead wood out of the club he will be signing creative players/wingers etc.thats I just think he is a tony pulis, sam allardyce or as someone else commented a mick mccarthy type of manager and always will be however long his career lasts. The problem he has got and the same applies to pulis etc is this football is out of fashion and many people simply cannot stomach watching it. He had the chance to sign creative players/wingers etc in the summer and indicated previously he was looking to do that. Didn't materalise. I very much doubt he had the budget to sign creative, exciting players. they cost a premium and we seem to mostly do free transfers. I honk he's done Ok with the hand he's been dealt. I get that people are moaning about the style of play, but would they rather be in a relegation position or even been relegated last season, mans knocked out of the FA cup in the first round by a non-league side again.

There’s a lot of doom, gloom and despondency here. From what I’ve seen over the two legs you are a very decent div.1 team who beat us fair and square and will easily sail through into the 3rd round. I’m glad we didn’t make it easy for you but satisfied we had our chances even though we didn’t quite have enough to do the job. Thanks for the hospitality at your place and your decent travelling fans. Good luck against Argyll. Thanks Ravenfox, very generous of you. And welcome to the world of the fanatically loyal Gas....

I’m happy to get through what could easily have been a banana skin for us , I watch the whole match on TV and thought it was a dreadful display, what annoys me taking into account the pitch is why especially in the second half all 50/50 balls were won by Bromley they were quicker to the ball all the time , our passing was dreadful some many loose balls , Bromley players were moving off the ball to give their players an option we were static and predictable, s9 easy to play against, not a great watch by any standard but happy to get through by the skin of our teeth

Wycombe managed to sign Fred Onyedinma, Blackpool with Sullay Kaikai, Oxford with Tariq Fosu, Fleetwood with Josh Morris and Doncaster with Jon Taylor. There has to be an affordable creative player in the country that would be willing to join us, even if it is only on loan, and to suggest there isn't is simply unbelievable to me.

Can't blame the pitch for complete lack of quality. We was shockingly poor tonight, the ball was just being kicked anywhere. Was embarrassing to watch at times. Plastic pitches should be banned

But we don't know how their wage budgets stack up compared to ours, so which player(s) wouldn't you have signed this summer to allow us to sign this exciting player, as I can't think of one who hasn't been used frequently by GC we could have avoided signing? To be fair to GC he's done a damn sight better managing his budget than DC did last summer.
