Of course but now he’s ours I hope he’s on a long contract and that we don’t lose him but if we do it’s for millions and not a couple of hundred grand. Yeah we all hope that, but these thing aren't a given anymore. For me I'm just glad that he has saved us this season(almost) anything else is a bonus. Just think we could have ended up with Bakayoko!

Just out of interest what is JCH's length of contract?
Is it 2 years? 3?

Just got back, bloody hell I'm exhausted!
My nerves are completely shredded but what a fantastic result!
Last minute winner has never tasted sweeter (well except that one against D&R of course!).
That is 3 massive points we earned ourselves there. We were pretty poor tbh but you've got to give the lads credit for grinding out a result and coming from behind as well. It shows that they are all busting their guts to keep us up. If they can maintain that grit and determination then we should survive.
UTG!

...sounds like the second half must have been entertaining. Nah, it was genuinely awful. Pretty woeful performance. No way did we deserve to win. But what excitement when Harris's shot went in. More than made up for the previous 92 minutes.

We are a selling club. If anyone comes in with the right money he'll be gone. Same for 99% of clubs. Whilst I agree, it will be another bitter pill to swallow if we sell him for peanuts. We should have got a million plus for both Taylor and Bodin. Their contracts were a by product of Darrell and Higgsys fear of offering long contracts after the 2014 relegation. I can’t help but feel the Al Qadis would feel the opposite fear on offering shortened contracts as a result, plus with him being one of coughlans first major signings I can’t imagine short contracts are in order here. Just speculating but aren’t we all?

Wow. Worst winning performance from a team I've ever seen. Absolutely woeful but boy did that winner taste sweet. We look the poorest team in the league based on recent performances but it's all about staying up now.

The sooner we can write this season off the better. That was painful to watch and we are lucky that Bradford showed why they are going to be a league two side next season. In fairness a high pressure game for both sides which clearly got to heads at both ends. Big additions needed in the summer and sadly the dismantling of the remainder of the D.C. side which got us two promotions. Don’t think we’ll be seeing players like Lines and Leadbitter again That said I think some of the first 11 and the emerging youngsters will prove to be a decent foundation with the addition of a good number of decent additions. Keeping hold of Holmes Dennis and Clarke Harris, plus signing Bonham would be a good starting point. It has been an awful season, but there have been positives I think GC has proved himself worth his chance, Ollie Clarke has grown as a player, Bonham, JCH, and the team collectively showed some fight.

Results wise since GC took over I think we're top 6 aren't we? You can't argue with that. Even if performance wise they haven't necessarily been good we've picked up a lot more points with him in charge. Certainly positive.

JCH’s winner, sorry if it’s already been posted. Do not apologise for that. Awesome listen from France. Thanks for posting

Tactics were awful when we went 2 1 up, dropping deep handed the initiative to them. Thank gawd for JCH as we were bloody clueless for large parts today. Why do we stand off teams and let them play, as soon as we get it their at us giving us no time and forcing errors. Points are the important thing at the moment though and we got three.

If there isn't a ridiculous sell on clause in it, then at least we've got a bit of security and plenty of time on it. I'd offer him an improved one straight away now though, and at least £2M release clause in the current market. We don't want another Taylor, Bodin scenario where we get peanuts compared to their true value.

Result far more important than the performance but we were certainly fortunate, when they equalised I could only see one winner & it wasn't us. However what this group of players have shown is that despite their limitations nobody can question their commitment. Definitely a lot of work needed in the summer but at least after today it looks like we should be looking for league 1 players rather than league 2.

It seems that communication on the pitch is zero. Every single corner they caused us problems playing it short and we just let it happen time and again.

Yay. It's taken until April but I've finally seen Rovers win this season And on the back of that I renewed my season ticket after the game.

One of the reasons I love football is that every new season starts afresh with a clean slate. Personnel change, the players go through pre-season and come the beginning of August there is always fresh hope and a degree of optimism.
We’ve had a hard season and make no mistake, the players will have felt the pressure upon them and will feel that lifted off their shoulders should we achieve safety. That is all that matters right now. Just a couple of points away now, in my view. Cogs said it wouldn’t be pretty and he’s been right, but they are getting the job done and that’s never easy in a relegation fight. We were fortunate today, but if we stay up then there is no reason not to be positive about on-field matters going forwards. The signing of JCH has shown that one or two shrewd recruitments can make a big difference. UTG!

Though if there was a release clause I think we might have heard by now and there's nothing on sky blues forum to that effect, they are expecting some bunces if he is sold. JCH he strikes me as a level headed type who is not going to be affected by all this speculation.
