Let’s be honest, the only time it’s luck is when it bounces into the goal from the post. Thought Sunderland were clearly the better team but we came out of that with our head held high. Nichols coming on made us much worse though. We had gone from pushing for a point to holding on desperately to 2-1. Encouraging signs overall though The best goals come off the inside of the post. Furthest away from the keeper.

I think he will be.And sadly the likes of sinclair and co.. Maybe that wont be such a bad thing. Sinclair has had a lot if injuries over the past 18 months. And at 31 he's not going to get any better I know and agree, but it will be another part of our heart and soul gone from our club.

Exactly, it's nothing to do with luck. Perhaps we could become Bristol Carpenters fc. WOOD HAMMER everyone

For me it’s always luck if it goes on off the post and with round posts, the way the ball spins it could go in any direction

Jakubiak definitely looking our best striker. Huh? I thought it was all "BOOM!" for Nicholls? Until one of them actually starts putting the ball in the net I don't think any of them can be called our best looking striker. Whilst Jakubiak had a good game today I can't recall him having a single shot on goal.

But talking as a keeper when a shot beats us comes off the inside of the post or crossbar and goes in we know that was the perfect shot we couldn’t have got to. Fine lines.

It was noticeable once he was moved out wide that we struggled to hold the ball up. He gave us a platform to play from which we lost after Nichols & Payne came on.

The move also coincided with Sercs departing who I thought had an outstanding game, hopefully he's not done anything serious to his groin or we could be knackered.

Unfortunately, same old, same old, lost again, now second bottom and four points from safety. Big week coming up, if Wael remains in hiding and leaves the clubs future to Hamer and that **** Starnes, l will be very, very concerned.

2-1 away to a top team doesn't seem bad, but that is our 'bounce' having sacked a manager. Hitting wood work counts for nothing, it's a shot off target. If no funds are made available in January we are going down, and there is no sign that funds will be available. From what DC previously suggested, we need to sell players to even get loan signings in.
Teams around us (Oxford, Bradford and now Plymouth) are picking up points
Our only hope maybe Fowler, coming in and buying a player or two out of his own pocket (or even coming out of retirement himself, must still be better than Nichols, lol)

A big no for me. Also is he that hungry? He clearly doesn't need the money so ie he going to be that bothered how well he does?

He was player-manager in Thailand and faced protests after losing more games in half a season than the previous two seasons combined. A great player without doubt, but that means very little as far as management is concerned. I think there will be far better candidates than someone like Fowler.
