I am not going tomorrow, will definitely go to Sunderland as it is a new ground for me; stopped using my season card / ticket, prefer to watch Somerset Premier league football. I went to the Barnet game on Wednesday and that on top of Luton away was / is enough for this season, after watching since the early 70s, enough is finally enough, I just cannot watch this team every week, I will watch selected matches, hope things will change. UTG

That interview sums up why we should keep DC without question. This club has big expectations from the fans but for as long as I’ve supported we have never had a pot to water in!
DC has been a constant and a positive one for years, he may have signed a few lemons but show me a boss who hasn’t. The difference is at big clubs it doesn’t matter cos there’s always more cash to replace them.
I hope we pick up some points soon and the pressure is off him a bit because if he goes it’ll be a bloody sad day.
UTG

A good honest interview, I really feel for the bloke! Come on let’s all get behind him and the lads and stop all this bickering, f**k the owners let’s concentrate on the football and get ourselves out of this mess. UTG! Well said. We didn’t win promotion from the conference because we had a board who knew what they were doing , they were Dam clueless, we won promotion because DC knew what he was doing and the same from league 2 to league 1. Get behind the manager get behind the team.

UTG Watching Since the early 70s and this team now , losing by one goal most weeks with the odd draw and win thrown in which is only in the drop zone by a point not even half way through the season in league 1 and you’ve had enough ? I think that says more about you than our club. Each to their own but what about the conference season ? All those years of struggling at the bottom of league 2 ? Surely that was worse than a relegation dogfight in league 1 in November ? Personally I’m well up for the fight, I didn’t turn my back on my club when we were two divisions below where we are now so I’m certainly not going to chuck the towel in.

I think he's put the boot in there. I think it's open season on the board/owners, now. And yet when given the opportunity he brings it back round to himself and the team and how they’ve been letting us and themselves down. Very admirable IMO.

UTG Yes, know the feeling. Driving back after Wednesday night said I’m going to avoid the forums, not look at the BBC website and do everything not football related! I lasted until last night! Have my ticket for Tuesday night! Like me peter you must have seen worse! As to Charlton, was there last season, got soaked when they wouldn’t open the gates and then we were robbed by the goal not being over the line but given. Due a bit of luck and tomorrow would be a good time for it to happen. Listening to DC was good, I hope the players give him a reaction. UTG!

Can you contact DC and arrange to give the pre-match talk to the team on Saturday or Tuesday. Exactly what this team needs!😀 UTG!

What a superb interview. Honest. Passionate. Frustrated. Let down by his bosses. Refusing to throw in the towel. Showing proper leadership, which is just as well as no-one else is. Legend.
We need to keep him here as long as we can.

I've said it time and time again, and I think this interview over any others absolutely cements it, that DC is this clubs biggest asset.
IMO he's worth more than a new stadium. He's had promises thrown at him to keep him here and they weren't kept, and he needs to get us back on track, WITH our support. If he goes, we'll have all the same problems we have now but with a manager that is new to the club and is likely to be kept close to the revolving door unless he starts well.
Championship clubs wanted our manager, and he turned them down for us. And still there are people moaning about him being 'out of his depth' at this level. Championship clubs clearly don't have the tactical eye that some neigh-saying gasheads do, it seems.

If the players get their mental right, they can go to Charlton and take the points.

Fantastic interview. I feel so bad for him. We as fans have been massively let down, but at least the incompetence and charlatan nature of the owners hasn't affected our careers like it has for DC. He could possibly be managing in the Championship or even PL right now had he gone to Leeds when he had the chance. He stayed loyal but was persuaded I'm sure by assurances from the owners. These assurance have turned out to be at best delayed long term, at worst complete BS. DC was duped. The owners should be embarrassed and ashamed.

If won’t be long until DC f**ks off , let’s face it he’s been well and truly stitched up with false promises , who could blame him. Dam hate out ‘owners’
