...this is what football was like. No segregation. No replica shirts. Raincoats, flat caps and rosettes to the fore. Pipes and cigarettes. Getting the 89 bus to and from the ground.
Well remember walking under the 13 arches and past the greyhound kennels at Eastville to get to the Muller Road end.
Good times.

Walking through Eastville Park to the same destination as you E1966,changing ends at half time. Half time results on the alphabetical boards. Standing next to an away fan. Tarrs ice-cream,marching bands and the smell of the Gas 😊

The smell of Gas Feeling a bit scared in the Tote End Feeling the weekend ruined if we lost, and even worse if back to school on Monday.

Blue and white bobble hat.
"Silk" scarves worn on the wrist, for some reason.
A huge queue for the bus back to Staple Hill.
Standing on the North terrace, moving to the Tote End coz I woz a teenager, realising I didn't like it that much and moving back to the North terrace to watch Harold properly.

Well remember walking back along Stapleton Road, towards the city centre, past all the crowds at the bus stops & all the packed boozers...
