I know we're predisposed to hating the teds kit whatever but that new Middlesborough copy home shirt is an utter abomination.
Other than being ridiculously ugly it also provides further evidence supporting the oft put forward theory that they have no real identity as a club.
I'm sure someone more tech savvy than me can provide a picture of said kit in all its fugly glory, if your eyes can bear it.

Looks like they have got some old knock off Middlesbrough kits and ironed on some old badges lansdown found in a back room somewhere.

I'm just kind of wondering if Jon Lansdown has young kids? Because it looks like they've had a fairly strong hand in the kit design if he has. Please, oh please let them also bring back the kids scrawly comic style lettering that they had on their leisure wear a few years ago too, just to finish the job off.
On the plus side for them people will more than likely think they are Middlesborough fans anyway so no harm done to their brand overall I guess.
Maybe we shouldn't laugh too hard until our kit actually comes out. Although I'm pretty sure people will be able to tell we're Bristol Rovers.

Our kit is pretty unique and can be used as a great selling point. Could be very useful marketing wise in a few years 🤩 |
