Really would like there to be other charges made as well but will bite my tongue During the TV interview with the CPS she said there could be more people charged in the future but also stated that some of the crimes have statue of limitations which have now been passed. For those who are unfamiular with that term:- Statutes of limitations are laws passed by legislative bodies in common law systems to set the maximum time after an event within which legal proceedings may be initiated.

All those Liverpool supporters who turned up without tickets and forced the hand of those in charge to make the wrong decision to open the gates to the Leppings Lane end; is that the truth? Controversial.........Be prepared to get howls of protest if you even dare to question the antics of the 'fans' !

I`d say, that was exactly the truth. If the police had failed to open the gates, and fans had been crushed to death outside, Duckenfield et al would have been pillioried for that. Damned if they did, damned if they didn`t. Of course they should be charged for perverting the course of justice afterwards, but causing the deaths? I don`t think so.

I am feeling a bit uneasy with the way this is being reported. We see headlines proclaiming that the families feel that they have waited 28 years for Justice, and 'now it is coming' (you get my drift). What happened to innocent until proven guilty? The implication seems to be that the people being prosecuted are guilty already!......So, what will happen if the defendants are found 'not guilty'?

I can`t see Duckenfield being found guilty of manslaughter. How the familes react to that, is somewhat predictable. I think, the other policemen will be found guilty of perverting the course of justice. And to be fair, I think that would be the right decision.

Like you, I cannot see the charge of Manslaughter sticking either.

So safety officer Graham Mackrell got fined £6,500 for his part of the tragedy. The jury in the trial were unable to reach a verdict over match commander David Duckenfield. 96 people killed, and no one has gone to jail. Like Grenfell, 72 people killed and not a single arrest. Makes you sick!! Yet Danny Baker is being investigated by the police because of a Tweet!!
