Whilst I agree with you to a degree, it's less than 4 years ago that the sh** were turned down on the Ashton Vale site. They have done a hell of a lot more than we have in 3 years. You could argue that the UWE deal only fell through a year ago, so we still have 2 years left to go. Anyone seriously think we will be sat in a new stadium in 2 years time? They were working on the redevelopment while appealing Ashton vale. They were never going to win the appeals, but it kept the fans happy while they were making the other plans. So it would have been a lot more than 4 years ago, that they started working on it.On a new site, you work on transport links and everything else. Obviously they could be doing nothing. But don't think Hani would pay Hamer and the new CEO to do nothing lol. So even if they are putting together the best plan we have ever seen, we wouldn't know about it yet. I can understand the frustration, we are all frustrated. But half the crap put on here does not make sense. I wouldn't be surprised if they are forced out now. Just hope any new buyers, don't rush into a Uwe deal, if it's not right for us. Looking at the last plans it was mainly aimed at Uwe. Jogging track, lecture halls, uni bars, naming rights, parking on non match days and that's just the stuff we know about from the initial press release. A lot of fans forget that though and just look at the picture of the shiny new ground compared to our tents. Also they are not submitting a planning application for their £100m "plan" for another 12-18 months !

Looking at some of the comments on here, I think some of our fans think it would have been built before then!

Strewth Henbury, are you suggesting that they are talking about their plans even though there must be Confidentiality Clauses somewhere?

The only people involved with the sh**ty application are BCC and Bristol Sport (mens div) big girls blouse section We have multiple parties involved including billionaires ( ) so these things take time to decide what colour we are going to play in etc. The stadium could be all red for all we know and we wanted pink... These things take time

Now plans have been drawn up they will discuss them.

But you'd probably get some nice sausage rolls for the in-flight meal.

Released to who there's no mention of them on here, the OS, nor the Bristol Post website? Will tomorrow be D Day when S Glos produce their weekly new planning applications list?
