Not particularly pleased with JC at LB. He looked in trouble as the left sided centre half when we went to a three on Saturday.
Other than that I'm optimistic.

I'd be tempted to play Ellis & Monty upfront with DC saying to Ellis "go out and make up for Saturday's error". I certainly wouldn't play EH & RG together as that partnership doesn't work
Monty started out as a striker and he can head the ball which is something James seems incapable of doing plus he has a decent, if wayward, shot in him? Anyway what makes you think James is a striker as to me he only looks useful on the right wing when he can run at defenders, I haven't seen him do anything when started in the No 10 spot this season. TBH we might as well start with Monty on the left wing and put Sincs behind RG or EH than start with James up front as at least Sincs will achieve something.
I'm happy for DC to blame me in his post match interview if this doesn't work out tonight!!

Other than that I'm optimistic. imo he played at left back when he came on saturday,i think we still had a back four. With his lack of matches maybe its asking too much of harris to play tonight?

Is Lee Brown out injured? Yes, picked up a knock in training last week. Was that from DC when LB lost it with him after being told he was dropped for the first time in his Rovers career! Fair play to JC playing on the left as I always assumed he was a right sided defender, in fact if he can play on the left why did DC sign Harris?

Any chance of Harrison, Montano, James and Gaffney managing a goal between them? Hope I'm proved wrong, but other than Bodin we're more likely to get a goal from centre mid or centre defence!

I think you're right to be fair, it just threw me that he came on at LB and he didn't look at all comfortable.

Tempted fate now but Bolton don't seem high scorers so one goal maybe enough tonight to snatch a win, we could do with a bit of luck away from home for a change.

That's an interesting line up. Very attacking and if we can enjoy some possession it should bear fruit. I think Monty and Billy will enjoy feeding off of Ellis if we go long too.
