Its about time Rovers had a shock win..instead of the shock defeats [Charlton, millwall etc] so going out on a limb BRFC 5 Scunthorpe 0
crowd 9837 A disappointing 1548 people only, wearing blue and white scarves.

They're out and out 4-4-2.
I've liked seeing us with wingers at home 442 against weaker opposition the last few years but we do get over run against the better teams, would be interesting with Bodin RM against Josh Morris LM as neither track back that well!
When we've played the diamond their wide midfielders have had oceans but not been good enough. So I wouldn't do that today.
Morris tends to get his joy drifting inside, and after our last hour v blades I'd be inclined to go 4-5-1 come 4-3-3.
Lum
Leads Sween Burn / Locks (not sure on Locks fitness) Brown
Sinc OC Lines
I would suggest the next bit is the hardest!
Bodin a no brainer right wing.
Monty, James, Ellis, Gaff for 2 places. Monty is the obvious choice left wing but I'd give James a chance out there, he's not had a chance to utilise pace yet and Monty has had plenty of chances. And then Ellis v Gaff... take your pick. Gaff holds it better but Ellis does win headers in both boxes so he would just about get the nod for me.

Although I'd play Monty upfront and put Moore on the LW, then use James to run at the tiring defence late on. I just hope we don't start with EH & RG upfront again, or worse still just one up front.

Defence looks stronger and BB is on fire agin. I think we will sneak a 6-0 win.
James will get a brace. He's having it fitted on Monday morning.

I hope we'll sneak this 2 - 1. Think we'll go 1 down then level for most the game before nicking it in the late stages. Scorers will be anyone except a recognised striker... Bodin & Lines then.

I'm told they are vulnerable in the last 10 mins. Almost guaranteed to concede.

Looking forward to this one, got a feeling we'll be singing the blues come 5pm.
Lines, Gaffney and Bodin to strike for the Gas!

I reckon we'll nick it by the odd goal, referee permitting. We've had some useless officials recently

@topper because monty hasn't done enough to really cement his place, flatters to deceive for me and think James deserves a chance. I think he's going with the formation I suggested, but who knows. UTG

Brown not on bench is all about man management and with 2 other defenders on the bench that haven't featured much there is no need for him to be on bench. Personally though from watching Harris last week I would pick Browner every time as his attacking threat is better than what Harris showed last week

The snake has been dropped to the bench for the teds. Replaced by 38-year-old Wilbraham!

UTG I don't agree Monty hasn't really had a bad game at the Mem, as far as James what has he done to actually warrant a chance, as I haven't seem him have one decent spell, let alone game, upfront. As far as Browner if he's not injured, then dropping him for Harris is a bit harsh after last week's shocker.
