Great game of proper football today. Bradford best team we've seen at the Mem for a very long time (barring cup and friendlies) and we gave them a good test. We hung on well but absence of midfield in 2nd half a worry. Subs were interesting. Hope Tuesday is as good

Very good point against a decent team. Good to see Broom come on to play the Easter role but would rather Easter was coming on to play the Easter role.
If you know what I mean.

Decent point Bradford are a good side impressed with their 4 Nicky Law, number 6 and 7, end ball from us in final third poor at times, James will come good, hard worker decent pace and touch, great game to watch and Lumley made some superb saves. Sweeney excellent and a threat at corners, onwards and upwards!

That was a good point in the end because Bradford were a good team and should have won. Their No. 4 was the best player on field, I suspect he wanted revenge for when his dad was here with Alfreton and got tonked 7-0! The No. 7 was good in providing but not shooting. Well done Joe L MOM without a doubt. We didn't create much but it was a gutsy performance and one I expect we would have lost 6 weeks ago. Well done the defence and I guess LJ needs game time to get up to speed although he always looked better when he had the ball and ran at them rather than when the ball was played into him. But he did more running about in this match than MT did in the last three matches I saw. Unfortunately running around won't score goals so DC and MS will need to vary play and work out how we score now! Bradford were a good footballing side that had us using long ball just to survive at times and to relieve the pressure and LJ will not thrive playing like that. Despite being out played at times our determination nearly won it and if they had put in as much effort as we did they would have won easily! For their fans going home I would imagine they see it as two lost points whereas I thought overall it was a point gained for us and the team put in a good shift esp considering we were without our two top scorers. But the Lines goal will live long in the memory, a great strike and we've seen some of those recently. UTG!

Couldn't make today so just catching up now. Sounds as though Bradford were a good side expecting the same from Sheff U on Tues. Interesting to see both Broom & Lucas got on admittedly Lucas very late on but interested to hear how they did ?

Bradford were easily the best team i have seen at the mem this season, only thing they lack is a goalscorer. Superb goal from Lines and a good first half display, but second half we were hanging on at times and we had to dig deep with a gutsy performance to earn a good point. Our keeper should really have got mom as he kept us in it. they have a goalscorer who played against us today, charlie wyke who they signed from carlisle in january.

Bloom did OK, bar one poor decision/cross, but I wonder how many times he's been asked to play in the hole behind the front two, I thought he was a right winger/wing back? Lucas did v. little in the short time he was on the pitch. Although given we've still got a good chance of making the play offs I can't understand why we're blooding kids over Easter, plus what's going on with Byron Moore why wasn't he given a run out mid-week.

Great defensive display from Lumley/leadbitter/sweeney/Lockyer...brown played ok but he is too easily skinned...I thought lines was great but ollie Clarke struggled but he has been immense the last few games... Monty didn't really threaten them and spent a lot of time defending but that was down to their formation..Sinclair done his usual upsetting their rythem...personally if bodin isn't fit and we missed him dearly yesterday I would have been tempted to play James there and gaffney and Harrison up front.. Harrison was back to his usual self for me..clueless runs/can't hold the ball up for the rest of team to breathe and reinforce him... He ran a lot but he's just not a intelligent player which you do need that contribute in the higher leagues... Luke James to me hasn't got the scoring record in his past and present to have the knowledge and presents to suceed in my opinion And isn't strong enough...he's pushing players off when recieving the ball and then decides what to do which is too predictable...he shows pace down the wing and I think that's his better position...

It's great that we are in a position to do exactly that. For years we have either been at the pointy end or in deep trouble making it tricky to Gove minutes. I don't consider the playoffs an option so Toppers point is irrelevant to me. If we got in the POs and lost, it would be a negative for so any that it may be detrimental to the overall progression we are making.

Had Roos been in goal for this, it would have looked just like Charlton, again. Not sure we can say the defence was great if the keeper has to pull off a couple of worldies.

If we got in the POs and lost, it would be a negative for so any that it may be detrimental to the overall progression we are making. You think? If we got into the playoffs it would be a world apart from 2015 when the expectations were a return to the football league. If we made it to the final I'd like to think that fans would be able to treat it as a celebration of how far the club has come since the dark day of relegation - if we get promoted fantastic, if not then no worries it's a fantastic achievement to even be in the playoff final for promotion to the championship 3 years on from relegation out of the league - we go again next year. Also a great breadwinner for the clubs finances to help fund new players and training and stadium ground developments. But then again you know what some of our fans are like....#meltdown. This season is win win here on in really. With 15 games to go we'd need a complete capitulation to get relegated (especially after two draws against two top teams in the top 6. If we make the playoffs, we can give at a go and see how we get in, regrouping in august for another attempt. If we don't, Darrell will know how to strengthen the team to have a go next year and the club will be in a much better position to survive in the championship on and off the pitch when we make it there. I'm not entirely confident after the last few games we are top 6 quality. I really like Monty but feel we need another winger on the left and send Moore back to where he came from as despite looking good in preseason he has been dire in most of his appearances and is to me, third choice. We we look weak up front now with Taylor gone and I would suggest that's the next place to strengthen for me if Luke James doesn't come good. Regardless, could do with another Gaffney type as again, I really like the guy but he has been struggling recently. It looked like he wasn't playing more of a winger role yesterday and that might be a good shout as he has good ball control and distribution he just can't score at this level. Harrison is a similar case for me. If you take away his solid performance at Northampton, which seems to be an anomaly, he still isn't getting the goals. Which is a shame as his work rate his shot up recently and I thought he was putting in a shift yesterday, having usually been a detractor. In midfield I think we need to take Ollie and Linesy as our base and find cover for them. They are showing their worth at this level. Stuart Sinclair, you have to applaud his determination and effort but this ain't the 1970s any more. It's a shame because I was watching his interview thinking he would otherwise be a potential for captain. Defensively and in goal we look like we have more than enough quality to give it a go but we need to try and get or replace Lumkey and Sweeney, who I would love to bring in on a permanent basis.

That was a tough game. We started well but once they composed themselves they looked good. Two decent wingers who hugged the wings. Pleased with a point. I don't think they will be promoted with that camel up front
