Just saying what I see. A defence needs a solid, commanding keeper, without that there's no hope. lots of people are not keen on roos though i like him,but i think your implying hes at fault for the barrow goals which imo is very silly.

Artic Terns are one of the only birds aside from the Hummingbird that can hover.

Don't think so regarding yesterday. The back four lacks communication atm and with no Mildenhall to put in there is think Macca would at least organise the back 4. I agree. A big reason I have included Mansell. I agree I think both Manse and Macca would still be ok at this level ,and what they lack in quality now at this level they make up for these presence to our side.

He's at fault for the first barrow goal, he rushed out needlessly, he's almost passed the ball by the time Harrison shoots, he doesn't get down until the ball has flown passed him. I don't see how anyone can defend him on that one. If you come out you have to get the ball, he didn't and the guy slots it into an empty net. Very soft. Say what you like about the defending, but if the keeper does his job then the defending would probably never get a mention - that's the difference with a keeper, their mistakes are costly, they have to do the simple things right. Their mistakes affect everybody confidence. Is also very lucky he didn't cost us a pen, not saying it was a pen, just saying he gave the ref a decision to make- again he comes and doesn't get it.

Agree he was partly to blame. First header lost which happens. The gap between the other 2 for Harrison to run into was shocking. Once it gets to that stage you hope the keeper still gives you a chance but he doesn't even get down the line of the ball, leaving an empty net to score.
A PERMANENT commanding keeper would make the world of difference and also think Lockyer played well with Macca last season who organised everything. Unfortunately we don't have a similar organiser up to league 1 standard at the moment.
The new transfer rules have not helped either and it's impossible to keep a large squad happy. Wouldn't be surprised to see more players leave than come in.
2-1 today. We need it.

Neither Roos or Puddy inspire confidence and are suffering from it. We need to support who ever DC puts between the sticks today as this IMO is a must win game to restore confidence within the whole squad
3-1 today

He was caught in no-man's land for that goal (very similar to the first goal Rochdale scored against us). Just coz the defence made a glaring error leading up to it, doesn't mean he did everything right. Also, just because people blame Mildy for stuff, doesn't mean you can't blame Roos for different stuff.

What's betting if Roos had stood rooted to his line, giving Harrison an even easy chance to score, the same posters would be saying Roos was too blame for not coming out? Regardless until January comes we're stuck with Roos as he seems far a better than Puddy, so don't we just need to support him, or do we now gone the 82'ers and just slag off our players? Not sure what's gone on with McChrystal this season but when you watch him from the terraces he's a great organiser of the defence, something we sadly seem to be missing this season, even against non league Barrow.

Firstly, that's a really sh** argument coz you're just attacking posters for having it in for Roos, and not having an opinion about what actually happened in the game. And secondly, have a look at the vid and where Harrison shoots from, and then come back and say it would be an easy shot from there, if Roos had stayed on his line. Here you go (actually, looking at that, that's worse positioning than I thought. He's given himself no chance, there):

If Roos had stood on his lin Harrison would of had a direct run at goal as it was Roos seems to have pushed him out wide, the big issue surely is why Locks & Hartley were sleeping to let him get behind them in the 1st place, once he got in that position you'd put money on him to score, rather than a goalie to save the shot? As I said with Puddy being the only option we have to back Roos until January anyway?

Thought I was having an opinion on the game/goal? No, you said, "What's betting if Roos had stood rooted to his line, giving Harrison an even easy chance to score, the same posters would be saying Roos was too blame for not coming out?" That's an opinion on posters, not the game.

I'd rather have Roos in goal today than Puddy.
Yes Roos has made mistakes, but he's still young (for a goalie) and learning.

No, Roos hadn't pushed him out wide, because that was the guy's first touch. Are you really saying, take that pic and move Roos to a decent spot near his line, that you'd put money on the bloke to score. We should probably sign him up, then. No one's disputing that the defence were mainly at fault.

Let's hope we get 3 points whoever Daryl picks. As to the idea that Roos forced the striker wide that just shows you haven't watched the video, the defender did that to a degree, Roos, he took himself out of the equation and left an open goal, watch the video, in slow mo if you can.
