How can you judge Luke James on one start in his proper position, he has not been involved in a lot of the last 8 Games when we have been sh**

It wasn't misplaced loyalty, it was a promise he made the team if they would get us promoted. Hint: Last year we were in League 2. No doubt he will never repeat that mistake in his managerial career again. Not the sort of promise any Manager should make unless you are suggesting all our present squad should be awarded with the same promise if we were to be promoted again this season. If it contributed to our promotion (and let's face it, our promotion was on a knife edge and so the tiniest of margins must have come into play) then it was the right move. I'm staggered that you're even suggesting last year's promotion season was a managerial mistake.

Playing different formations is fine when you have talent at your disposal but I'm afraid that is something which is in short supply due to a misplaced loyalty to players who are clearly out of their depth. It wasn't misplaced loyalty, it was a promise he made the team if they would get us promoted. Hint: Last year we were in League 2. Last year we were in the Conference. May 2015.

Ive waited until now to post because I don't want to post something that was written immediately after the game that was biased with emotion.
However, with the benefit of several hours to sit and consider, my overall assessment is that we were total and utter sh**e. Having our defence opened as easily as a prostitutes legs I can perhaps accept from the likes of Charlton, they have a number of accomplished players who have the skill and wit to punish you. Barrow had two decent goal scoring opportunities and thay scored from each one. The first was right in front of me and the defending was ameturishly comical. For the second, no-one picked up the runner from midfield who took the loose ball, and bang, it was in the net.
F@cking rubbish, total b&llocks. I didn't join in the boos at the end, but they were well deserved.
DC needs to ship some of rubbish out and bring in some players who have the ability to,compete, and I mean in league 1 , not the friggin Conference, otherwise it's going to be a long second half of the season. Opposition teams have Sussed us out and all the team and formation changes in the world will not fool anyone. DC has said there is no room for sentiment. He's right. He has shown loyalty to the players who have got us this far, now he needs to wield the axe. 4 new players at a minimum I'd say. Otherwise we will be going down.

I haven't been this season so am struggling to fathom our recent dip. We were doing ok a few weeks ago, something must have changed. Possibly a slight shift in the players mindset, maybe they have lost the " winning belief". I don't know, maybe something else, something really really small. Footballers form does seem to be inconsistent, this throws the team out of kilter when someone is having a shocker. When I clock in at work I pretty much play a fkin blinder, day after day after day. I guess that at work no one is trying to stop me doing a good job. Hopefully DC can nut this one out, and we can continue to progress.

My uneducated opinion is - that we have actually struggled all season. Our goals against suggest we are struggling as a defensive unit. Up until the Milwall game late goals and reverses from 1-0 down papered over the cracks. At Millwall, a bad refereeing decision (IMO) led us to a 4-0 defeat. I don't think this group had ever lost by such a margin and it really hit their confidence. We have struggled to recover from that, and just like winning can be a habit - so can losing. And that is the position we currently find ourselves in. A team that goes out onto the pitch with little belief that they will win the game.
