Mildy and Puddy both injured I'm afraid

Roos is a better keeper than Mildly, having missed very few games home and away I think I am a bit qualified to give an opinion. Mildly is a gas legend, it was not long ago people were moaning that he was making mistakes. All keepers make mistakes it is how they come back from them that matters. Look at Joe Hart as an example. Roos still has my vote anyway.

The team generally played very well today; however, Roos, again made another howler, which this time eventually lead to an unnecessary defeat. Hopefully DC reinstates Mildy for the Tuesday nights home match with Fleetwoiod. IMO Ellis went backwards today, not really competing for the ball and his anticipation was very poor; Gafney was unlucky to be substituted. Mildly seeing a specialist on Monday. Roos will keep his place.

When Ellis came on it killed the match for us and we looked worse than boro.
That game was crying out for wingers.

Just my humble opinion, Roos made one mistake at MK, the second goal was Brown's fault

Listening to the radio and reading on here so many people seem to think we out played them.
Bizarre, I felt a draw was about a fair result and no way did we completely out play them.
Maybe I am wrong, but I wasn't that impressed with us.

Also thought it was nice of Smudger to come over and give us a clap after the game, obviously easy after a win but he always was a classy bloke imo when he played for us, as much as I thought a season or so ago that Leads had a lot of Smudges game in his locker and he could be as good as him if not better he hasn't kicked on again this season so far for me, but he is still young and learning and jumping up two leagues in two years will take some adjusting to.

Terrible error from Roos from a simple catch, wouldn't have took Gaffney off either but we should have been out of sight before they scored the winner. Some really good performances today though and how many times we got in behind them out wide but couldn't pick anyone out was so frustrating. Still on to tuesday. Gaffney was knackered. I'm not Gaffney's biggest fan, but his work rate today was exceptional. He was running all game, and had a couple of good shots.

I've been to those matches with smudge & seen Roos save us several points. But hey, it's easier in the hurt of defeat to criticise. Any thoughts on the sum total of the forwards efforts being one iffy penalty? And defenders who gave Posh too much space?

From memory Roos made one good save in the first half, whereas their goalie made at least 3 outstanding size and there was also as many last ditch tackles, for the entire second half Posh never threatened our goal once apart from Roos fumble and then the goal in injury time.

Thought Posh were shocking. They didn't even deserve a point.
Had absolutely nothing to offer all game, and at least three players who were ridiculously overweight.
Played for a point and got lucky.
Proper mugged, but hopefully learn from it.

First half i would agree, but second half we were the better team, got behind them had plenty of shots, they cleared off the line from Lockyer,a lot of their defending was last ditch blocks, their possession was in front of us and the gift from Roos gave them a lift when we were on top.

Posh had us sussed. Knew not to score first! Bored us to death....then struck. Hope they think they'be turned a corner - cos they ain't.

Taken from Posh forum: "My Rovers loving friends thought we were lucky, I thought we at least deserved a draw. From my point of view getting a win was lovely and I thought overall we deserved it" Not sure what game he was watching.

I'll take the blame for that one lads as it's the first home league game I've had to miss in the last 3 years due to being away ,Roll on Tuesday night though. Same as that mate been 3 years for me too Dam Halloween party been alright but I spent 2 hours of it on here keeping up with what was happening might have well been at the game. There's only one worse thing than the Gas losing and that's not being there and the feeling of it being out of your hands. Roll on Tuesday we will bounce back from this we're Bristol Rovers it's what we do.
