The best thing about being there in 7th is that we have played everyone except bury ! Just goes to show what a difficult start we've had , but look where we are !!!! And only two teams from the bottom eight Hard to believe we're up to 7th when you think where we were just a couple of seasons ago, particularly as we don't seem to be playing that well at the back,usually giving a daft goal away a game. Good that Gaffers is finally off the mark and seemingly back on form, just annoying there's no game next Saturday or we could have gone top 7 this time next week!! |

And the reverse psychology works again. You all give NAG due credit for switching on a sodding kettle, but I get nothing but fecking grief. I hope clark-salters obvious class doesnt increase the chance of us playing 532 though. Locks is undroppable and hartley is so dangerous from set pieces but 3 needs to go into 2 for me as we are so much better 442! The whole first half was crying out for some width and when dc did change it, it was a massive improvement!

Just watched the goals,must say the second yellow to send off their player looked harsh,he hardly seemed to touch Matty,may have been the angle of the camera though.

Lockyer single handedly gives teams a 1 goal start.....but it's working so lay off our boy. |

Locks is class but is also learning on the job having never played in league 1. Id rather develop and improve our player instead of someone elses. It is a nice problem to have though! |

Gaffneys performance was great today, topped off by a long overdue goal, I'm pleased for him. He should have had another instead of passing across to Taylor at the death
Bodins not at the races , I'm a massive Bodin fan but hes not sharp enough at present
Young Chelsea loans look to be excellent prospects and should prove vital in the run up to xmas

Just need to stop shipping sloppy goals then chasing the game for an hour
D. c has to find his best defence and give them a chance to play together for more than an hour at a time
I don't want to seem churlish but I was at Sheffield and today's game and I don't see anything in these "top" sides to worry about, we have the squad to take this division on I'm convinced of it
But we need to solidify a core back line because we will meet a stubborn side (Stevenage last season ?) we won't crack , it happens and every point is vital

its so weird to be a rovers fan with the quality in this squad?
today the manager left out clarke-salter,bodin,matty taylor,leadbitter,hiram boateng,mildenhall,mansell,luke james ,byron moore and maybe others ive missed.
competition for places is ferocious to say the least and im starting to believe we will be in the play-offs at least!!
