This thread is an embarrassment...............why can't people accept we have a fantastic, highly regarded manager, who has performed amazingly to get back to back promotions? Instead, we get constant moans from idiots who think all we need to do is play 4 4 2 every week. I for one am loving the flexibility we have and that DC has the conviction and courage to try different things to suit different games. To all you moaners, why not just try enjoying the journey instead of complaining/moaning/abusing when things do not go our way.....after all if DC left who the hell could fill his boots? Chill out mate there's no need to lower the tone and speak to people like that is there ? We all have differences of opinion but that doesn't make people idiots , I don't agree with some of your points in your post but I don't think your an idiot I think that you have a different opinion. DC is the best a manger we've had certainly in my lifetime but that doesn't mean that he can't be questioned from time to time , people aren't always going to agree on things , that's the Beauty of a forum. Just fed up with constant moaning on here from people who clearly do not have a clue about football......and I wish people would just enjoy the relative success we are having. Afterall 17 months ago we were playing Alfreton Town, and now we are holding our own in Div 1with broadly the same players, and yet still people are oh so quick to complain and find fault.

mate you happy the clueless one got us a win tonight and the useless one scored to help us win? More than happy. Its nice to see my reverse psychology is still working as well. It worked for The Kettle on Saturday.......UTG

Cracking result, well done DC and the team/squad. A concern though - 6 bookings tonight, and I think it was 3 in the abandoned match, plus 5 last Saturday. After our fair play award last season, what's going on? We must be getting close to someone being suspended? The players getting tested harder. Getting committed to fouls. Are not savvy enough. Disciplinary is actually something we can afford to not worry too much about due to our squad strength.

I'm delighted that we won tonight and yes I do understand football and yes I'm well aware that generally speaking our best results under DC have come when we've played 4-4-2. DC had to make 3 changes before we got back in to it tonight , does that mean he's clueless or an idiot because he got it wrong at first ? No. It's a forum for people to express they're opinions on the game and on our club. I've said it before and I'll say it again DC is the best thing to happen to our club in my life time but that doesn't mean everybody is going to be happy all the time life's not like that at any club. When your side goes the first goal down constantly you look for reasons why just the same as the manager does.

Players struggling with the pace of the game? just to say that although the ref wasnt terrible he was flashing yellow cards all over the place to both teams. swindon struggled throughout the game with the pace and power of rovers on the night.

Wow well done rovers. I was busy watching nicole scherzinger licking cream off her nose on tv, so missed the game. It was worth it.

I hope the penny has dropped for a few tonight, get the midfield rogh and we win games just like we did on both promotion run ins. We deserved to win tonight, DC celebrating with us was brilliant. The 3 subs changed the game and should have started. Jamma was immense, ran the show, Lines drove us on and Colkett was clever with the ball. Great to hear. Did we keep the formation? the formation stayed pretty much the same imo 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 depending on how you view it and we were very dominant before the subs came on forcing endless corners in the 1st half. easter was exceptional after he came on winning the penalty and forcing the own goal with a powerful low cross.

I think it's far too simplistic to just say "ooh look, we took Sincs off and went on to win again" who knows how much a part him chasing and harrying their players constantly had in the mistakes that they made near the end?
Likewise it's great to be able to bring on 3 quality players at a time when they must be tiring a fair bit, Easter has looked top quality whenever he has come off the bench this season so far but the game he started I didn't think he was that great at all, his ability to shield the ball and win free kicks and pens is just class and something a lot of players don't have at this level.
As I said in another thread, it's very much a squad game nowadays and I think every one of our squad will have a part to play over the 46 games and I think whoever he brings in will do a job for him, just look at Ollie Clarke last night, majority of people couldn't understand and wouldn't have picked him but apparently he was class.
In DC we trust. 38 to go you never know.

Making substitutions and tactical switches I'd the managers job. People on here pointing fingers and questioning everything just because we go a goal behind are reflective of the people who Boo at HT. It's tedious.

So proud of the team and DC. Went to the original game but not last night due to family reasons. However, there is nothing like an away win, particularly late on. There is something special about the set up at the moment- just when I start to get a little twitchy, they pull off something like last night, and, without a huge away support behind them. Long may it continue. UTG

Great persevering performance from the lads tonight with that bit of aggressive game changing magic added by Easter from the bench. Big shout out must go to Roos for that magnificent one-on-one save that kept us in the game.

Great result from the team, really would have been there at the end but no way were they getting another £25 of me, F##k you lee power!! we are the gas Know what you're saying, but I would have gladly paid twice for that result Agreed. Cost me £50 to watch the two games, but wouldn`t have missed last night for the world. Very encouraging performance, and the two goals in such rapid succession was my favourite sixty seconds of the year so far. Apart from the dream I had about Halle Berry.
