What's going on with our other strikers? Good job Taylor is putting them away. Gaffney should of scored at end, very poor shot!

Sounds a lot more positive than Saturday, no? Slowly slowly, we'll find our way in this division.

Following on teletxt & this forum from Llandudno. Am I missing much? Doesn't sound like it. Rovers 16 shots ,7 on target , 15 corners. Walsall had no shots and two corners in the last 40+ minutes... Getting back to the sorts of stats from the last two seasons...just need to sharpen up on some of the attempts and close down better from the start of games.

Sounded like a much improved performance from Saturday. A return to form from Bodin and Moore also playing his part in a welcome 4-4-2

Lets not give them more credit than they deserve, Walsall have been poor this season and their fans were having a meltdown on their forum before the game.
These are games we should be winning at home.

Really? It was top corner. Boateng have the ball away which led to it. Brown's stupid misplaced short pass led to the whole move? True. Either way it was certainly not the keeper's fault.

Teds f**ked up a 2-0 lead lol Sheffield Wedesday fans clearly think them a massive club. "Bristol City were founded in 1982 by a group of disgruntled local muck farmers. They were immediately accepted into the third tier of the Fizzy Pop League, and gained their first promotion two years later. Their first trophy win came in the 85-86 season in the Mickey Mouse Cup with a 1-0 win over rivals Walt Disney Wanderers. That victory was due to a late own-goal from Goofy, a player that later signed with BC. In 1990 they finished second in the Fizzy Pop League to Bristol Rovers in a season which included a 4-0 loss to their Bristol rivals. The team remained mediocre until 2004. That year they reached the play-off final before bottling it against Snow White and the Seven Dwarves - although, to be fair, they were playing against two teams at once. More recently they beat local rivals Bristol Rovers, a famous win, highlighting the differences in the quality between leagues. They have had further success in the Mickey Mouse cup with a win over another local organisation, the Welsh National team. The Welsh began struggling when their team was struck by lightning and police later found the team captain four meters up a tree with a sheep in his arms. In 2008, plans were announced to relocate to a brand new, 80,000 all-seater stadium at Ilminster Avenue, near Knowle West - a pleasant leafy, Bristol suburb. The site was chosen for its proximity to City's traditional fan base, plus the excellent public transport infrastructure and plentiful supply of recreational drugs and prostitution. In the meantime, Brizzle play their football in the Championship. And that's how we come to be playing them today!" www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/245243-the-owls-vs-bristol-city-official-matchday-thread/

One thing I have heard is that Chelsea dont like loaning players that dont get played, and you are not likely to be allowed to loan players from them again if you dont play their kids.

Great performance their keeper was the difference we could have won that 6-1. So much better in a 4-4-2.

Frustrating game to watch. Didn't think we had much in us first half and the penalty was a real lifeline, they could have gone in 2-1 up - very lucky. Much better in the second half as above stats show! Good choice of subs, looked to have much more flair with linesy, Ellis seemed to be becoming more and more frustrated as time wore on. Gaffney was his usual self, if he'd have scored at the end it would have been pandemonium, poor shot which should have won the match. In other news, worse pasty I've had at the Gas today, zilch beef.
