So anyone know if the bookings still count? Pretty sure they do. Surely not? If the result is void then cards should be.

Always likely to be a tough one ,after the high of the chelsea game the energy and concentration levels are probably pretty low at the moment. Still 0-0 at halftime away from home at a higher level than last year is quite satisfactory. BRFC need to get the strikers involved more ( on the attack not in the rovers box ! ) to give swindle something to worry about. Honestly ? These se are mostly young and supremely fit men who should be able to play 2 games a week with ease as I see it. If they can't concentrate and fulfill that then something is wrong but that's just my opinion. I really don't get the excuses made and especially for young, fit and healthy men. How many of us would love to play as our jobs eh. Gutted for our fans. Hoping a refund for rearrang d fixture is sorted. UTG It's all relative. They are perfectly capable of playing 2 games in a week, but you can't expect them to be as fresh as a team that only played one. Why do you think that athletes taper off their training in the week or 2 before a race?

Wow that was mental, I was wetter than a cucumber in a women's prison.
Good job though cos we were bloody awful, only one team was going to win and it wasnt us.

No, we are playing the right formation, but not necessarily in the right game. ... Nothing unusual there then. But will the game be on?

Surely not? If the result is void then cards should be. if there were any goalscorers they wouldnt count in the pjayers goalscoring records so i would guess all match records are null and void

Why do you think that athletes taper off their training in the week or 2 before a race? Yeah, it's fine margins. It's easy to play at 110% once a week. But, with two games in a week, especially after a game where we gave it 10,000%, we were bound to be down to 108% or even less, today.

That's two poor showings on the bounce for Rovers in the league which is a bit worrying, particularly playing poorly in a big local derby.

Gos only on bench for Cambridge to-day. McBurnie also on the bench, albeit in the Premier league against the champs!

Surely not? If the result is void then cards should be. They used to count and I am sure that rule hasn't changed. Unfortunately.

I thought Newport away a few years back was wet but this was something else. Pitch was unplayable. Would have taken an hour or two to drain. I doubt that. The end of August, bone-dry soil. 30 mins tops. However, it did look unplayable at the end and even with an early kickoff they can't keep thousands of fans waiting.

I believe you have to restart within 30 minutes, under the rules, otherwise it has to be abandoned. Which, I guess, would be a good reason to leave the suspension as late as possible.

Didn't know that, and since it was still raining, albeit lighter, at decision time, then I suppose it had to be called off.

After what i saw today before the heavens opened (thankfully from the roof covered stand), it is still evident that in midfield we are lacking real quality to compete against the better teams, Lines is having to do all the hard work and actually try and pick up the ball and move it forward, the others dont appear to be able to take control at all at this level which is worrying. Hopefully DC can bring in the right sort of players that we need before deadline.

I think the midfield could take control if they weren't sitting back on the 18 yard line and the defence on the 6 yard line. Think the weather might have saved us today, it was wetter than a prossies cum filled knickers out there.

Our flanks were wide open first half at Chelsea and much the same today. Surely Dc can see that his first half formations are working against us, that is, unless the opposition fail to take advantage.

IMO Linsey was tremendous, again, today; generally though we were not good enough and created very little; hopefully DC brings in a couple of creative midfielders before the transfer deadline. Felt sorry for James Clarke the harder he tried the worse he was, DC gave him the hook at half-time, the back three is not a great option atm, maybe we will sign an extra defender ?

We're giving the opposition to much respect I reckon. Defending on our 6 yard line for the duration against Swindon. Seems we start seasons playing 3-5-2 start badly then after a few games we give up on it and go 4-4-2 and look much better. We've only won one game this season and we've only played 4-4-2 once..Oxford.
