Thought that was a little undeserved to be honest, solid point and I fancy us to do well at Swindon next week.
Put it this way, league tables mean nothing at this early stage but we've played the current Top 2

Just a pity that the officials decided it (apparently).

Jesus, Scunny beat Gillingham 5-0 today - some (me included) were lauding Gills for their signings this week.
Think we've had a tougher start than we did on paper, thinking positively.

We've lost two games this season, during which we matched the opposition for long periods and scored a goal. Bolton and Scunthorpe are the top two in the table and are looking strong (albeit early in the season). Definitely reasons to feel positive at this start to the season.

Take away the 3 pts they both got from beating us and they'd be mid table! Having said that Div 1 doesn't really seem that much of a step up from Div 2, you do wonder what a fit Mansel, or a good replacement, would bring to the team, as things stand it seems we have to play both OC & Sincs to replace him.

Southend fans came away impressed with us lol;
"Draw was a fair result but I thought Rovers were a pretty poor side. Scraping a point at home to them sums up the level we're at this season"
"Why would you have taken a point at home to an average Bristol Rovers side?? If that's our ambition as a club we may as well call it a day right now!!!"
"Rovers will struggle this season, they work well but had little craft. They will be fortunate to be gifted free headers from corners every week"
"Rovers were very average, and could count themselves unlucky not to win today"

We need 3 quality players fast to avoid a relegation battle. Shouldn't be a problem with a billionaire owner though.

The 3 or 4 signings could make a massive difference to where we finish.
