It's a rovers forum and he's a shithead , I come on here to discuss rovers related topics and to have a bit of banter with rovers supporters NOT Sh1!heads. It would be like me posting my views about eating meat on a forum for vegetarians! So to make it clear, Briz red can f**k off and go back to Otib It think you are well out of order. Briz has always posted intelligently and respectfully. Why don't you try doing the same. [br Cool, thanks for your input

Gaffney getting a hard time on here. He created plenty of good chances which you can see in the highlights. Soon enough he'll start burying a couple of them.
We had another player recently who created lots of chances but didn't put them away. What happened to him?

I think we've got a real rough diamond in Gafney and to say he can't make the step up after 3 games is jumping the gun. The blokes a bully on the pitch he gives defenders such a hard time , has a powerful shot, can bring it down, he can pick out a pass and we've seen that he does have an eye for goal it's just that his scoring form is off currently. His movement off the ball isn't the best at times too many offsides but Stewart can help him with that. He may be older than Harrison but I think he's got more potential because he seems to want it more.

Gaffney is a star in the making. In a way, I think he tries too hard.

Poor response to Briz Reds chaps - after a reasonable question as well! Plenty of Rovers fans on Otib who get fair responses and a bit of banter that they crave!!! UTG! I agree. Tin hat on, but I'd like to think we would be more open to letting those reds that feel the need to post on here. With regard to Briz Red, he's very subtly antagonistic. I think he wants the poor response so it can be posted all over otib how much more tolerant they are of us than we are of them. Your assessment of briz red is spot on there. But that really just makes him even more of a flog than he first appears. The need for him to come on here for that small level of self gratification is embarrassing really.

Gaffney is a star in the making. In a way, I think he tries too hard. I like Gaffney too. His job in the team as part of a front pair isn't to score as such, it's to make space, bully defenders and create space for the main man by occupying a centre half. He is pretty decent at that. He does get himself into good scoring positions at least once or twice a game. If he works on his finishing he is going to be a great player for us. I still think he will get 12+ for us this year which will be a good return for his type of player.

This wasn't happening before - the clearances were coming straight back to our defence, putting them back under pressure.
So far as I'm concerned, Gaffers kick started our promotion run-in, and for that he'll always be one of my fave players.

Don't worry after our next game it will be someone else's turn already had oc ,sm and dg, lets run a sweepstake for the player to have a pop at next week roll up roll up, this is our one chance for a few days to slaughter a player , free entry, great prizes as the winner gets to grab their own know and say yes i am

Ill go first....Bloody Hartley, fancy letting the Bolton guy spin him in the box to score, he has the turning circle of a cruise ship!

Pretty sure whoever we slag off on here gets told by DC to keep the "siege mentality" he's built up going given every player posters have a pop at puts in a decent shift the next game, just need RG to score a couple tomorrow night now!!

If Rory does score a few goals over the next three games then other teams will start to get very concerned with the BRFC strikeforce as I'm sure mt will score again in those three games....

I agree, with Gaffney we are a better balanced guide and if he does miss a few (as did someone else a few years ago) he never gives up and creates havoc in the opposition defence. He stretches other teams, makes space for others and plays the ball and is more aware than Ellis about other players positions and playing them in. That he keeps his place in the team tells me that DC agrees with what a lot of people are saying. Let's hope he can get a simple tap in to get him scoring. ps I've nothing against Ellis and was delighted he signed on again and feel he is great to bring on when the others tire and happy to see him start. In all we have 4 very good strikers and the way DC is using them is keeping the opposition guessing and messes up their plans! Oxford on Sunday was an example of this.
