I find tboner pretty amusing to be honest.Hes taken an extreme view regarding matte and the manager and he ain't changing it.As long as some continue to have a nibble then he'll carry on regardless.Just having a bit of a laugh as far as I'm concerned. I not in this to amuse people, but thanks anyway. So genuine question, what will get you out of it? DC guiding us to (say) a 12th place finish in League Two (better than any manager in the previous three seasons*) but him then signing to manage (say) Coventry (say) near the bottom of the Championship next October...? Or Matty Taylor scoring (say) 20 goals in each of his two seasons at Rovers and then moving to (say) Chesterfield in August 2016 where he continues to score 20 goals a season for the next 5 seasons as they bounce between League One and League Two...? I only ask as your criteria for judging each of them is nonsense. Win a game/score a couple of great goals and you avoid the subject. Lose a game/miss a chance and you pop up like the baddie in a panto....we all want to ignore you but none of us can help calling out "he's behind you" and fuelling your so-called 'role'. At this level, strikers miss chances and managers lose games. That's why they are at this level. If Taylor had banged in every decent chance he had last year ( ie finished on 70+ goals) he wouldn't have scored 8 league goals for us so far this season as he'd be doing something similar at MK Dons. If DC had somehow guided us to a Conference Championship win by 30+ points he'd probably be the new Bolton Wanders manager and wishing he wasn't. And who would we have in their place/would we be 12th at the moment? Given our recent history hiring managers and picking strikers, what criteria do they have to meet before it's "better the devil you know?" *incidentally, if you answer this one by saying he took us down in 13/14 I will immediately invoke Godwin's law and you will lose the internet...

Not defending him but he is as entitled to his opinions as anyone else, just because you disagree with them doesn't mean that he is wrong or not entitled to post them It is my strong opinion that anyone that believes a man that won us promotion last season and that taken us to a respectable first half of a season in L2 is clueless, is mad. As you said it is your opinion, nothing more nothing less, therefore he is entitled to his opinion,as people are now saying about you and the consortium, whether it exists or not,it is only an opinion, until someone turns it into a fact

It would be interesting to know how DC's budget compares to other Div 2 teams if it's top 7, looking at yesterday's bench where Lucas & Blisset didn't even make it, suggests it could well be, then is finishing 12th really a success? Surely the sign of a good manager is one that over achieves, not seemingly under archives? January will now be crucial as we're in a good position to mount a Play Off challenge if DC can bring in the right players. Although this summer's signings have hardly been that great.
