It may sound impossible but it was even a bigger heart-breaker than Wycombe at Wembley! 14 points up with 6 minutes left! Last kick of the game defeat! The Duke of Guernsey's vintage port may taste a little sour tonight.

Don't care ! Really can't stand Rugby ! And with Landsdown in charge don't care even more ! Exactly how I feel . before I didn't care but suppose would have been pleased if they'd won. Now I don't care and I'm pleased they've lost. Soon no one will be talking about Bristol rugby team.

Bristol Rugby fans don't give anything but sh*t to Rovers fans (or at least every Bristol rugby fan I know).
So now that they're with Pantsdown, I'm even less inclined to wish them well.
In fact, if I'm being honest, tonight's result was hilarious! 30 seconds to go and they messed it up!

Stay classy guys. Thought we were better than that.
Unlucky Bris. God knows how many play-offs they've lost now. deserved to go up.

Playing in RED ! They deserved to go down. Sorry if others think we should feel sorry for them, I don't, they roll out that old 'we stole the ground' so often they are mental and deserve all they got.................nothing !

Mixed feelings as had a casual interest that mostly evaporated when they went to the dark side, did think they'd do it this year. "Only one rugby team in the Bristol / Bath metropolitan region" Bristol Sport can freak off

Sorry tumshie but they are part of the evil empire now, hard to muster much sympathy for them.
Another year outside of the top flight for Lansdown's secondary plaything. #makingbristolproud ho ho ho...

Have to say i feel the same im afraid. The good old 'ground thieves' routine really chuffs me off. That club couldnt even afford to finish building the West stand (still not finished actually) our rent before 'that' deal saved their sorry rugger butts!

Habitual desire to live beyond their means is most welcome in BS3

Am I allowed to be a Bath Rugby and Rovers fan?
As such, with the Landsdown factor, pretty pleased that they have another year in obscurity.

I am not much of a Rugby fan so I have had no REAL affiliation to Bristol but I guess looked out for them as my home town club, but since the steal our ground bollox and now the move to the shitpit the local club I look out for is Bath.
So it is pretty hilarious what happened tonight, two years in a row they have won the league and not gone up. But if that's the "all about money' system they want they deserve all they get.

I used to like them but not now they are part of the empire. I also bet that pretty much every ted wants them to do well so it's not bitter, it's loyalties. Glad they cfkude it. Good luck next year and sorry the ground won't be filled.

The Duke of Guernsey's vintage port may taste a little sour tonight. They let in a last minute try in the first leg as well, iirc. 59-58, blimey. Their constant failure in the playoffs looks like it's a proper mental thing now, rather than just a hiccup. Also, our pitch this year was better than Wembley.
