Very easy game for us today I thought, which didn't help towards the atmosphere 2nd half, but 3 points in the bag with 2 to play. Onwards and upwards.
Bring on Dover next week.
2 massive games left and all still to play for.

People keep your nerve. The team is doing it's bit We cannot ask any more of them. Okay Halifax did not do it today when we thought they might but, who knows Kiddie might next week. Barnet may take their eye off the ball thinking this will be an easy win and drop the ball. This will go to the last game, and personally, I don't care that we don't hit top until after the final kick of the final game. Keep the faith comrades. UTG.

Anyone else think it's weird that whenever DC gets asked a question about Ellis he responds by talking about other players? He did it weeks ago - when he talked about Blisset's skill when asked about Harrison and tonight je gets asked a direct question about Ellis as an asset to the team and he responds by saying "Matt Taylor has got five in five now".
Also, Terry from Coleford - cheer the f**k up would you? We're a point off the top with six to play for. If you only want to go on the radio to talk doom and gloom b*gger off down Yeovil would you?

All we can do is try to get maximum points and hope it's enough and as always with Rovers expect the unexpected.

Its worth noting that we have clawed back the goal difference between us and Grimsby over the last few games so who knows what we can do to the points difference between us and Barnet??

I think DC has this right and has the squad taking the professional attitude that we take what comes after the last day, so no disappointment missing out on the top if that's the way it is, and total focus on the play offs.
All we can do is finish the season strong and if that does not get the automatic spot, then we go into the play offs in form and focussed.

Kidderminster lost 3 . 0 to welling today can't relly on them helping us out . All it takes is an early kiddy goal and the nerves will come into play Barnet get frustrated and get a player sent off (hopefully Akinde) and despite a late equaliser they lose top spot to Rovers with one game to go. |

Would it be against the rules for us fans to offer the Kiddie players a non-defeat bonus?!
1,100 of us will give them £10 each, would be a £1k bonus for each player which could be a few weeks wages for them!

I think it's about time people wiped the slate clean regarding Ellis. He has obviously changed and doesn't need to be constantly reminded of his possibly errant youth.

Sat on my Todd with a Thatchers on Glos road. Can't shake the feeling of loss tbh, despite a very competent performance by the boys. Gateshead and Kiddy gone missing, today feels like the day we ended up in the playoffs. We've let Barnet of the hook too many times. Oh well, be seeing you all at Wembley? That's defeatist crap. We're still in this us and barnet were massive favorites for today's games. Different story next Saturday. UTG. Delighted to be wrong. |
