Great start to my birthday weekend....even me boss bought me two tickets for the Alfreton game I only need one so will be giving one away somewhen free for north terrace hope you have a good one Glenn. i'll warn the local cops.  |

Great to see a genuine quality striker up top for the first time in however long. Work rate, pace experience and the cool head in front of goal. Reminded me of Will Hoskins the way he lead the line. Could be the one we've been after for the last couple of seasons very true. Looked a class apart, especially those hectic first 25mins. and whatever happens this season he's here next season, so we know in advance we'll stand a chance whatever league we are in. |

According to the commentary a toe poke from eight yards. The cross that it came from was exquisite. i hate it when decent goals are described as toepokes. from where I saw it that was not a poke in - more like a sharp and accurate shot, with a defender running at him!! |
