We were never gonna go the rest of the season without losing. Fair play to Eastleigh as they were pretty good I thought. We created little, they created lots, strong upfront. Luckily other results were kind. Time to regroup and go again.

DC says looking to strengthen. Good! We badly need to strengthen, also today reminded me a lot of last season, I've said for a while I don't think this team would be very good in league 2, today has made me strongly believe that

I'm still gonna say it: 20 games unbeaten is a hell of an achievement.

Well, that might be the kick up the butt we need to fully focus on the rest of the season with extra determination. Barnet losing and Maccs drawing was such a let off for us. No doubt that Grimsby are right in the mix now as well, however. It's a proper 4-horse race now, with Forest Green ready to pounce if there's carnage at the last couple of fences. If other results had been different today though, it could have been pretty devastating. Let's get Easter fit and press on again.

Early goal killed us - we were stretched as we tried to get an equaliser. Dire in most areas of the pitch though - onto next week I think.
Ironic that MT's best finish whilst at the club turned out to be a pointless consolation.

If we were going to lose this weekend was the time do it. Dust ourselves off and push on

Not sure you can write off Eastleighs chances after their last two results. We were outplayed all over the pitch today. not sure if we were poor/struggling with the pressure or Eastleigh are just a far better team.
Let's hope we don't meet Eastleigh or FGR in the Play Offs!!

Nothi h has changed in the table. Its as you were, with a game less.
A bad day, but all is not lost.

We were awful today, lets just hope it was a one off; glad Clarke is bringing in a plyer nextweek, just hope its a creative midfielder, as IMO Craig Stanley ran the midfield. Would'nt mind seeing Easter anytime soon.

Missed a great chance to put ourselves clear of Barnet, but then again Barnet are probably thinking the same. Anyway we're still top UTG

Have the Defence and Attackers fallen out with the midfield? When we played it along the floor (maybe the only time) in the second half, Blissett hit the bar (think it was offside, but at least it was a good move and attempt!).
I was in the West Stand, and the lino in front of us totally missed (bottled) everything, inc the foul that lead to our goal!
I was at the wrong end of the pitch for their first, did it take a deflection? Or just go through everyone, including Mildy's legs?
Talking of Mildy, what's with his slicing kicks from his hands?

If it took a deflection, it made no difference IMO. Mildy had it covered comfortably... then let it through his legs. It may have been spinning a bit, if we're clutching at straws. I expect he took his eye off it.

They were all over us in those early minutes, and deserved winners, but it's a frustrating point that if it hadn't been for that one uncharacteristic blunder we would have had a point.

What midfield? Locks is a centre back and Mansell is utterly and completely devoid of merit. I'd like to see Balanta playing a number 8 role - the only thing I can think of to get a tiny cintilla of creativity into the midfield. Why the FLIP can no one make a FLIPPING PASS? ??!!!!!
