Barnet failing to take the maximum points on Saturday and we win our next 2.
We will be top of the league. It's all very exciting!

After being involved in a league winning team as Manager, spending weeks telling the players one game at a time. Turning them into robots.
I fully intend now I am a fan to get carried away, dreaming of the promotion party. I'll let Darrell Clarke and the players maintain their professionalism whilst I sing Irene as loud as I can, whenever I am allowed!
I'm a fan, it's my job.

It's a funny thing though. On paper, some football matches look quite easy, but as soon as they start, it's much more difficult.
Then sometimes they turn out to be easy after all, except those aren't usually the ones that were supposed to be easy.
It's a funny old game.
That is the extent of my wisdom on the subject.

I think what Mark is trying to say is that things that haven't happened are always interesting, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know. And you can't argue with that.

Many months ago some thought I was a complete nutter for even dreaming that we might gain promotion at first attempt. Some thought I was mad. Now it seems there are many who are thinking the same. Confident times for this club. Happy days!
I've just seen a Nelson Madela quote in Johannesburg:
“May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.”
There's less fear in our club these days. We are looking up and in two games time we might proudly be looking down! Ever hopeful, never fearful.

I'm happy to be a nutter if that makes me different. Many of our fans now predicting promotion seem quite normal to me. Now nearly everyone is thing what I was thinking.
