Fantastic results and problems for other teams re match winning players! We are back in with an automatic chance! All about momentum and we still have Easter to return from injury! That Macclesfield game is a must win now! On BT sport as well. Come on Rovers. May all our dreams be rewarded by May and in May. Gas up. Stadium sorted. Poo stays down. Of those last 3 scenarios , I'm confident of the first , worried sick of the second & I'd love the third to happen but can't see it, how do you see it? it might only be a minor result but Eastleigh and Gateshead losing are important. I don't like it when teams have games in hand and could technically get close to us. Halifax are still the slightly unknown quantity though. Don't look back you might see people/teams going the other way! |

Just got home from the game.
First half Grimsby were the better side, penalty was at the other end, look like Blissett got to the ball first and the keeper punched missed and hit him. Probably couldn't argue if it was against us. Couldn't tell if pen hit the post directly or whether it was a save.
Second half we picked up the tempo and seemed to press higher up the pitch, Monkhouse had his Weetabix at half time and was being a right nuisance to the Grimsby RB. Using the ball well and playing some decent passes. Dawson also gave his LB a hard time and was putting some decent balls into the box.
Overall I think we had the better chances and probably just deserved the win.

Gotta say I thought we were much better than them throughout. What did Grimsby create in the whole game? They only had one on target shot throughout the game to our 6.
With the missed penalty, MacChrystals miss from a great cross by Dawson, and the save from MT in the second half(I thought he should have scored it), we should have been out of sight come the end.
Grimsby weren't better than us in the first half, they shaded the possession but created nowt.
overall a well deserved victory for us.
Barnet, we are coming for you.

With the missed penalty, and the save from MT in the second half(I thought he should have scored it), so he missed more than one decent chance again? Still I suppose he ran around a bit.That is what makes a striker. |

A low ball comes in and MT tries to side foot it up the beach towards some cute kids who are playing a makeshift game, using driftwood sticks as goalposts. Apart from 3 televised games, this was only my second match this season.....and I'm afraid I need to order some new glasses, as he was involved in nearly all our attacks and I do rate him. That makes you wrong and me right btw.....  |

Well I have seen most games,couldn't make yesterday,just another typical Taylor performance.Good link up play,good effort but very poor finishing,hit and hope comes to mind. Really hope his misses does not cost us in the end,how many chances has he had in the last two games and how many has he scored,it can't be just bad luck. But having said all that, most strikers in this league are poor, and what Tbone calls running around a bit is unfair as Taylor does a lot of good things in general play. Still think we will win the league
