m.gloucestershireecho.co.uk/Open-letter-Paul-Buckle-Cheltenham-Town-fan/story-26009001-detail/story.htmlDisrespecting supporters Paul? Who would have thought it? Sounds all too familiar. Shaun North must have had a bit of a fall out after Rovers too. Well expressed piece by this CTFC fan. I'll put my hard hat on and say I fear DC does make some of these mistakes though his major asset is he is far better at installing team spirit. Lots of similarities in way his reign began though. Unlike Buckle however he seems to learn from his mistakes

Considering he claims to have ''learned from his mistakes'', I'm surprised he is knocking the players that were already at Cheltenham before he arrived. If he'd learned fTom his time with us, he'd know he stands a much better chance of success with players that he didn't bring in himself!! Then again, I suppose I should be surprised when things he claims, turn out to be wrong. He claims to be a football manager, but he's just an actor, and a very bad one, just like 90% of the players he brought to Rovers... acting the part of professional footballers!
Chris Zebroski could barely move his legs when he played for us, His agent has since found him an acting role he's more suited to... he gets down on all 4s and gives people rides up and down weston beach. Security do their best to make sure that nobody runs out in front of him though, cus if anyone does, his legs seem to freeze or get all tangled up and he just collapses to the ground.
Paul Buckle and his friends are just cr@p at everything!

On the ball about Zebroski then. Not. why would you defend a c*nt like him? The amount of money that those ''men'' got paid by our club for doing absolutely nothing, makes me furious! I'm SO much better at my job than Zebroski is at his, yet I get a fraction of his wage. Adam Virgo, what a Fool. I can't stand it when he's on BT Sport for one of our games and he talks about things from ''when I played for Bristol Rovers''. No, Adam, you NEVER played for us. Whenever you weren't injured, you stood on the pitch and made the occasional strange movement, which was probably more like a twitch than an intentional thing. That does not count as playing football!

You'll have been one of the hearty fellows chanting nice things at Zebroski, then?

You'll have been one of the hearty fellows chanting nice things at Zebroski, then? and rightly so! And anyone who doesn't like mean words should've joined in but said ''go away Zebroski, you horrible melon'' instead! Or do you not mind that all him and his mates did for this club is send us further towards non-league and run off with a load of our money??

This thread was originally for the perfectly reasonable, necessary pastime of Buckle-slaughtering. It seems his evil spirit has worked among us once again and now we are falling out.

This bit sounds so familiar ~ "Many, including myself, feel you have disrespected the club by criticising virtually all of our players, not taking responsibility yourself for results your sometimes questionable, tactics (having two right backs on the bench whilst playing a centre back at right back) and for making comments such as ‘if we finish third from bottom it will be a successful season’ as if that’s all we deserve."
Cheltenham fans should stop having such high expectations ~ lower them quickly!!

Chris Zebroski (and all other pro footballers) don't have a job. They are fortunate enough to have been given a contract to play a game and get paid LOADS for it, even if they're terrible at it. And after being terrible at it in one place, they still get another contract to play the game elsewhere! If they couldnt get a pro contract, then they'd need a job.

It sounds as though Buckle is being given one more game to turn things around. Steve Elliott has confirmed that he hasn't signed for Bath City yet, as he is in re-hab for a knee injury and will "review the situation in 7-10 days". If Cheltenham lose, Buckle and Elliott will be going in opposite directions through the revolving door at Whaddon Road.

Zebroski may have been pretty bad for us but one thing he definitely did do is move his legs. He may have been short on ability but he never stopped running and always gave 100%, for which he has my respect.

He may have been short on ability but he never stopped running and always gave 100%, for which he has my respect. but it's no good just running... that's the bare minimum. Unfortunately, so few players have even given us that minimum over the last few years, which is why we all love Sinclair so much... he really wants it and really gives his all (and actually has a positive influence on games, unlike Zebroski). When I say about not moving his legs, I'm referring to how sick I was of seeing him run towards the corner of the box with the ball, and then once a defender went to face him, it was as if he was frozen in fear... he'd be moving his body slightly... it appeared as if he wanted to do step-overs but his studs were stuck in the ground, so he just ended up swivelling his @ss about a bit, then the defender would easily take the ball, leaving Zebroski on the deck. Time and time again I saw this and I hated it. I didn't know that he was scoring goals in League Two now, because I dont spend my time finding out about it. I couldn't care less about League Two (or any league) unless The Gas are in it. The fact that he can do well for other clubs but not us just makes me hate him even more!

Let's talk about the here and now unless someone has some new, insightful, factual information to share from the past !!
