Interesting appointment! They need someone to get them fighting for survival. Could work, could be a disaster. At least he wont be mentioned again this season as the solution to our problems tho! Wait for a few games first, he gets a couple of wins and it'll be floods of look what we missed out on etc.

Some decent players for that level that he has to work with who should be doing better - Ollie Clarke, Gavin Kilkenny, Nnamdi Ofoborh, Jake Cain, Grant Hall, Harry Smith and Paul Glatzel. Might even get a rough diamond like Kabongo Tshimanga firing and Swindon have a decent youth setup too, beating the likes of Luton, Manchester United and Sunderland to get to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup last season.

I don't think Swindon can go wrong with a deal to the end of the season, by that time they will know if things are working out ok. If that was us we would be giving out a 3 year deal.🤔

He's a solid name in the game and he's gone to a bigger club than us. Fair play to him, hope it works out although I do enjoy watching Swindon struggle.

Personally would have loved him back here. Some of the most exciting football I've seen was when he was in charge. You cannot underestimate the importance of people management and he motivates players.
Always surprised at how many Gasheads are negative about him but it is all opinions I guess. Good luck to him.

Wasn't he Manager when we were pretty much odds on for automatic promotion, playoffs at the least, and blew it?

Wasn't he Manager when we were pretty much odds on for automatic promotion, playoffs at the least, and blew it? I think we all know what went on and it wasn't a case of Holloway blowing it, more a case of Dunford not being brave enough to back him.

If that was us we would be giving out a 3 year deal.🤔 Looking at the table they are not far off the drop zone if Holloway fails again like he did in his last job at Grimsby they could well be relegated, it seems a brave move to me, I agree regarding the contract length, it's a mystery why we gave MT a 3.5 year contract.

Won a League Cup, something neither Bristol club has done. Been in the Premier League, also something neither Bristol club has done.
