Why oh why are we always waiting on deadline day especially when it is for a position that we have needed for so long (creative midfielder). We now probably have to go into another important game Saturday with a very defensive midfield duo that don't inspire me at all as an attacking unit. The service that taylor and Blissett are receiving is very poor and we are just so predictable as to the way we play irrespective of team selection. Saturday all creative flair was on the bench.

It's probably just as much a case of deals that are difficult to push through either only going through at the last minute, or falling apart at the last minute.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29656745Used to this division with Torquay and Welling. I'm pleased that Torquay wanted to keep him when his loan expired, but he was not a regular starter there and it is asking a lot of this young man to come in and immediately be the difference.

If I remember rightly Torquay started the season pretty damn well. So maybe he just couldn't get in for players that deserved to keep their place.

See that Luton have terminated the contract of Dave Martin. And no I wouldn't have him back.

I remember when I was 21, I was easily led, maybe they'll give him a few training sessions with Sinclair, a month is easily long enough to grow a beard!

... a month is easily long enough to grow a beard! Judging by the interview on GasPlayer, he's already started.

The more I consider it, I'm actually quite pleased with this signing. Is described as an attacking midfielder and has played for Bournemouth a few times so he must have something about him.
DC seems to consider his signings well before we get them. I know this guy was last minute but DC has a pretty good record so far so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Wouldn't be surprised if he went back to Dartford. Did I dream it or was he really good at first? I'm sure I remember him as the wizard of the wing in the first few games. What happens to players? He wasn't bad. We did have a lack of pace in the team and he offered us that, also his set pieces were an improvement. Both him and Cunnington started off well although I rated Cunnington a lot more. Martin is a typical winger in that he could look really good on his day but also had some shockers. Would be a good signing for someone like Dartford though definitely.
