With all three being so equal atm I’ll always go with who’s the best team and I think that’s Manchester City. Liverpool seem to be getting the better decisions going their way at the moment but that usually evens itself up.

I've watched a lot of Burnley games this season, and can assure you it definitely doesn't.

He should have had to put up with some of the refs clubs in League 2 have to. They he might have a reason to moan. 😉 UTG!

They've made some stupid errors but have actually looked a lot better than their league position. Kompany has had every right to be missed off. I would have been sent off with those poor decisions the weekend, then did you see the ridiculous free kick given against them that Wolves scored from? These aren't the first decisions against them either this season, Forest had 2 decisions go in their favour against them. Luton had a goal given where they fouled the keeper. Saying they even itself out is lazy. It should even itself out, but it doesn't.

warehamgas, is this a red card and a penalty? Bear in mind the first yellow shouldn't have even been a booking either.

Understand Burnley fans being jarred off but I’ve seen worse given so yes, yes and yes. Blaming the ref is and always has been a lazy way to deflect what your own side has done (or in Burnley’s case hasn’t done).

Playing out of the back they have made too many mistakes and I don't know why they dropped Muric for Trafford to only put him back in now. But it definitely hasn't evened itself out. Most of their games have gone the same. Play well and then either make a silly mistake that leads to a goal or the ref f**ks them over.

So where does everyone think we are with just a few games left to play?
Arsenal: arguably the trickiest run-in - so I think as long as they back Arteta next season then this will be seen as another positive season, although have to start winning things soon...
Man City: surely theirs to lose, I don't think they will need 15 points from five games but I suspect they will get them...
Liverpool: Slot on paper looks like a good choice. It pains me to say it but Klopp surely has to go down as a failure there...
Villa: Proof that a good manager with good support can get good results based on your expectations.
Tottenham: Just about paying off the new stadium based on football results - even without Kane I suspect there are still more questions than answers after this season...
Man Utd: In a holding pattern. Nothing in the last few games affects the huge changes that will almost certainly happen next season.
Newcastle: Is 7th a failure? Potentially, but might be one last chance for all involved next season...

I'm just astonished at how many goals Arsenal are knocking in this season. In any normal kind of year they'd be about 10 points clear.

I’ll stick with Man City because I think they’ve the best team. KdB seems to have raised his incredible ability a further notch, Phil F the same. Although I’d like Arsenal to win it. Liverpool dropped points and lost intensity just at the wrong moment. I’m not sure I’d agree with supergas about Klopp being a failure there but he certainly chose the wrong time to announce his departure. He became the story rather than the club's race for the title. Any other time they’d have won a title or two more but Man City always just that bit better.
For English football it’s better to share honours around so I’d like Arsenal to do it but you’ve got to admire Man City and how they go up a level at the right time.

One League title. One Champions League, one FA Cup and two League Cups. Yes he ended the League title drought and yes they won a lot of games under him. Just they didn't win enough games to take home more than one trophy roughly every two seasons.

Yes supergas I don’t agree that he failed but he should have won more, but he came up against a better team and a better manager. And at key times was out- witted by Guardiola. Mind you Man U would do anything for Liverpool’s record!

Mind you Man U would do anything for Liverpool’s record! UTG! I think he was given time and money and it's a poor trophy return vs what the very top teams achieve. However I did see a bit of trivia pointing out that all he needed to do to win three CLs and three PLs (vs the one win he actually got in each competition) was to win just four games that were actually drawn or lost. Crazy stat but that's how people at the very top of the game succeed or fail by the smallest margins on the pitch...

Arsenal wanting Spurs to do them a favour.
Arsenal's remaining games: Everton (h)
Man City's remaining games: Tottenham (a), West Ham (h)

I think Man City will need to win both. Which they probably will, but pressure gets to everyone and Spurs will be difficult since they still have a chance of Champions League qualification.
