See he has gone on loan to Frome.
Good to see a player from the youth set up getting real men's football experience.
Hope he does well and he comes back a better player for it.
If he is going to be offered a pro contract next year and we are safe, I would let him get a few minutes from the bench in the last 2-3 games, same as Ward and Jones.

Difficult with no official Youth/Reserve competition so loans are vital. In my youth our reserves played in the Football Combination against the likes of Spurs reserves. In the North/Midlands the equivalent was the Central League.I reffed a Central League game at The Hawthorns one friday night and was amazed to see the away end packed for a reserve fixture but realised that Man City's first team were in the FA Cup final the following day so they had made a weekend of it.
Always a sprinkling of Internationals playing after injury or whatever and Jan Molby was a right moaner for Liverpool reserves as was Emlyn Hughes when he captained Wolves reserves after leaving Anfield but perhaps should have finished at the top. Final memory of reffing reserves was at Forest when Blackburn beat them 1-0.Nothing remarkable about that perhaps but Brian Clough kept them behind and when I was leaving the ground he was still yelling at his youngsters. The thing is ,the night before ,Cloughy's first team had just won the European Cup courtesy of Trevor Francis!!
