At FGR today. 2 awful sides. Locals not impressed with 1 up front and 5 in midfield not being very attacking when it's a 6 pointer. Cambridge in the ascendancy until FGR put 5 passes together and scored (where have I seen that before). All of a sudden they look more lively. (Local with a spare ST, just cost me a couple of pints)

Well that was an interesting neutral game. FGR managed 1-0 by actually being more attacking rather than sitting back. Late well worked but undeserved equalizer then a penalty winner for FGR. Think that's the 1st time I've seen someone sent off for the team that won the penalty

So very sad. Never known so many medical emergencies at games as we see over the past couple of years. Thoughts and condolences to his family and friends. RIP.

When Rovers played at Twerton Park we often had a supporter admitted to the cardiac ward, after being taken unwell at the game. Cold weather causes the heart to pump faster, and the person becomes unwell if their heart struggles to cope. The club used to donate good prizes for raffles run by the RUH, as a way of saying thank you

Whether watching a game in non-league or La Liga on the TV, every other week there seems to be some kind of incident. So sad.

Surely it's just a case of games now being stopped whenever a medical emergency occurrs, rather than the games just continuing as they always did in the past, not an increase in medical emergencies?

Not sure if there are more emergencies or just a case of a) The stadium having medical help at close hand. Fully kitted up paramedics pitchside are more accessible than those sat in car park 'on call' b) Media coverage - including social - if someone is ill the question will be asked about the outcome.

Portsmouth Wycombe underway. Might as well let Portsmouth take the 3 points on this one?

Wycombe win 2-0 and great to see the schoolteacher berating the referee at the end.

The table from 4th down is now wide open and we're presently sitting 6th in the form table over the last 10 games. I wonder if BG will still be in charge when we play Charlton if they lose at Stockport in the FA Cup?
