Will the Germans unleash the 18-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko I wonder? He scored 141 goals in just 88 games for Borussia Dortmund's U17 and U19 sides and this season has 6 goals and 4 assist from 8 starts in the Bundesliga. He recently became Germany's youngest debutant in nearly 70 years and it will be interesting to see if he gets much game time.

Turned it off already. Think the BBC have to share a room with someone polishing the gold cutlery judging by the sound. Unless I missed something obvious VAR were looking for a reason to disallow the goal. Doesn't even feel like the world cup after being moved to winter after they said they'd sort air con for summer. Game kicked off before the pathetic count down, hope that was the ref starting when he wanted to, not the 'authorities.' As for the Qatar team pretty much suspending the season so the players got plenty of training time together. Hope they get stuffed

Qatar goalie doesn’t fill you with confidence……. This Qatar team are nearly as bad as the ones on the Fifa 96 game on Mega Drive that I would score from half way line against. 😆

This Qatar team are surely not of professional standard ?! All seems off, touch, vision, ability to pass or deal with any form of pressure from incoming defenders. I remember conference teams giving us a harder game than this!

Well this is a load of old knickers, I'm switching over to watch Johnny English with 633 Squadron at 6.15.

Qatar are sh**e. Dirty, fouling, inept and crap. That's just their government. Their football team are worse
Ecuador should have been at least 3 up at half time and I hope they humiliate Qatar.
