Yes, I've seen it mentioned in several places. Will await further action. Our "fans" also threw bottles on the pitch again (at Exeter) - the punishment could be serious this time (travel ban/points deduction/ behind closed doors etc) no excuse but both Exeter and Portsmouth sold bottles with the top on, something that we don’t do at the mem. Only thing I would have been tempted to throw was the cold pasty, it was not very nice

Radio Bristol commentators made mention that she also received abuse from Exeter fans during the game. Yes, I've seen it mentioned in several places. Will await further action. Yes Tilly not only chants to get something out for the boys, but then after previously chanting about Barton the wife abuser, chanting watch out Bartons after abusing you or something similar at her. Apparently a female linesman was abused at a previous Exeter home game this season.

I can remember Barrow's Mark Cooper getting an 8 match ban for that offence when they played Exeter last season.

FA investigating Exeter in regards to chants at our physio. That's 3 clubs now.

I think it’s a cunning plan. We should hire more hotties and soon every club will be fined and we will be the richest on the league hahahahah

I am sure that Leighanne just wants to get on with her job and earn kudos for her professionalism - indeed Leon Clarke gave her credit for her help in getting him over a difficult time. Lets hope that this stuff doesn't put her off doing the job that she seems to love

I suggest you don’t jump on old threads and concentrate on saving the world instead.

Seems like fans at a lot of clubs, including ours, still have quite a way to go.
Shows why HerGameToo was desperately needed and so pleased how the campaign has gathered massive momentum.

I blame the social media age where everything is based around how people look. Maybe we should all learn to enjoy what’s on the inside and then none of this abuse would happen?

It is a good campaign. However, I think it has zero impact on people who indulge in this sort of behaviour. They won’t be bothered about the fact that their club gets fined either. They need to be identified, banned and fined.

You can find a person attractive without shouting creepy things at them while they're at work.

True, but this was Barnsley

Sadly this thread has little touches of casual sexism in the mix showing us there is still so far to go, but the good thing is that those who do this are now being pulled up by others.

I'm not so sure that sexual abuse in football has anything to do with social media, because I've encountered countless examples over six decades of watching the game. At least it is getting called out now.

Barnsley have been charged by the FA for their spectators remarks to our physio. Is she still with the club? Haven't seen her for a couple of games.
